I think its too early for thatWhats the concensus on the reliability of this movement and the chrono functions? Is it like the Daytona reps now in terms of stability and reliability?

Stated earlier that noone has reported any major movement failures in the 3+ months this movement has been out on this thread. I think we'd know by now if there was some kind of prevelant issue. There was one report of low PR but that can happen with all reps, poor oiling.Whats the concensus on the reliability of this movement and the chrono functions? If you look at all of these pictures of examples people are getting in this thread to an original, yes the milling around the screw holes is definitely not precision. my pictures are very Hi-Rez. Very close-up at different angles. I took those so you could see the final details. The silver dial really looks unbelievable stunning.
If only they would do a better job with the milled holes for the bezel screws.
This is a particularly bad example IMHO.![]()
Thats good news. I might have to bite and buy me one of these.Stated earlier that noone has reported any major movement failures in the 3+ months this movement has been out on this thread. Probably need another year to know.
The only real complaint I've seen is multiple people stating that their caseback threads came loose and not tightened.
I managed to finally fit the blue alligator strap, though the clasp is definitely digging into my bone, I'll buy a different clasp at a certain point, for the time being this will do fine.

Is that the new batch or pre cny?

Very nice. You should be able to just bend the folding portion of the clasp to flatten it - at least that is what I have done previously.
Who made the strap? TanGo?
An age-old trick to reduce discomfort with the AP clasp is to switch the straps. The long side should be at 12 o’clock, and the short side should be at 6 o’clock. This simple adjustment often makes the clasp much more comfortable.
And I certainly didn´t want to step on your feet or diminish your joy with this watch.I'm definitely not looking at the miling around these teeny tiny screw holes up close.

Congratulations! Enjoy your watch!I was expecting my 26240 to come tomorrow, but thankfully FEDEX just rang the doorbell and my wife accepted the package.
SUPER EXCITED to say the least, hoping it fits me properly because I want to daily the shit out of this watch!
Spoke too soon... the fedex package was something different we ordered. However my tracking shows delivered but to one of my neighbors. Did some investigation and it just a few houses down. My wife is running some errands, so she said she will knock on their door to retrieve it... just my luckCongratulations! Enjoy your watch!
