HZ2236 Movement doesn't work anymore

Hi, I bought my wife a:
31 MM JARF Datejust with HZ2236 movement.
It worked fine on arrival, after setting the time etc.

After approx 2 weeks the Watch didn't work anymore.
Tried winding it, tried tapping it etc.. doesn't seem to work.
Its stuck at around 13:15.
date and time can be adjusted, but it doesnt work anymore after you set it.

what can I do? The TD told me I can send it back and they will check with a watchmaker etc ... but I don't want to send it back to be honest.

should I install a new movement?

I would appreciate any help.

The HZ movement is not the most durable and rough handling, perhaps during shipping , may have knocked it out of kilter. If it were mine, I would swap out the movement. They are not expensive and if you can’t manage it yourself, a watchmaker happy to work on reps will do it for you.

Sadly, it is part of the risk buying a Chinese copy and shipping it across the world (assuming you are not living in China!) On a brighter note, I have known movements like yours tick away for ten years without a service, so it can be the luck of the draw. Don’t feel down hearted, think of the many thousands you saved over buying a gen!

I'll try to make it on my own, since i want to start working on watches a little.

And copy me in here because I am also interested in.

Can you swap the movement also? to?

And please tell a bit about the Watch, don't know the Factory

on the website it said hz2236 ...
decided to repair it with my local watch shop for about 70$ ...
