I have cut down the collection. I have 35 at the moment. 15 gen and the rest Frankens and about 6 OOTB reps. But it changes weekly. Ish.

Purely reps, 40, around 15 chinese homages, gens around 10,
Will cut reps down to 20
Chinese homages are cheap so i just keep them or gift

More or less have 110 in rotation.
You would think it would be easy to slim down to 75 or even 100 but it’s hard to let them go. Took a lot of effort to acquire them.
To buy a gen Kermit that I lust after I’d have to sell about 30, maybe more.
It’s nice having a big collection but they don’t get enough use, most days I wish I had kept it to 30-50
Maybe this will be the year I slim down.

If you can't get them again, don't sell them, you will regret it, and you're right, even if I sold my whole liquidation I would be able to get like a Grand Seiko and maybe a vintage Datejust lol
I honestly do not know. I know there are more than 180 altogether. I used to know as all I had to do was count box and winder spaces. But even that has overflowed and I am refusing to buy another box or winder.
Nothing near a record. @trailboss99 and @hasel53128 would have at least twice that number. I doubt they have counted them for years. There are a lot of collectors on here, who have the bug worse than I have. @legend probably has twice that number in gens lol.Might be a record

8(X24) cases full, plus at least 50 more on the bench to be built. So probably ~250.
About 1/4 are gen, 1/4 are Franken, maybe 1/4 are rep, and the rest are just beaters.

every collector here even the crazy ones like cmaster, legend, apjumbo etc etc have stories on their watchesthat's the really scary part... 150+ watches and each has a story to tell lol
