Short video of it, i personally like it. https://imgur.com/a/lkbn9trAnybody think the blue dial will come out as good as advertised? Thinking of pulling the trigger, Panda seems like the right choice, but I do not know if I can resist a blue dial, as long as its repped properly,

I ordered the panda a few days ago and have ordered the blue one as well today. I already have the 26240 in blue (and green) but I find the 26331 to be more elegant. They are different enough to justify having both but I might end up selling one of them (probably the 26240).My plan is potentially to get the panda , and pair it with the blue 26240 I’ve ordered. Trying very hard to stick to one color per model. It’s my new rule for 2025![]()
Please post your pictures when you get them! Can you share your 26240 pictures in that thread too?I ordered the panda a few days ago and have ordered the blue one as well today. Will absolutely do.Please post your pictures when you get them!
I have sent both my 26240s to JD for a polish/rebrush (absolutely worth it IMO).Can you share your 26240 pictures in that thread too?
I'm not talking about speedies, that are incidentally known as a dud rep. I'm talking this 26331 so stay on subject. I'm not even seeking 1:1. Gen spec has been the benchmark for years. This obviously falls short. So by definition it's a below average rep. You could write a whole novella it won't change the facts. But this is my opinion and measure.I beg to differ. Subdials are completely off on speedy reps. Here they are merely slightly off. I wager that it will be hardly noticeable on the wrist. The fact that we had to use a ruler overlay on a macro shot to evidence this "flaw" tells you how hard it is to notice it.
AFIC, this is a cracking rep with close to gen dimensions and a movement that has proven to be reliable. All for a very reasonable price. Believe me this will more than scratch the itch for many of us.
If you want something much more accurate, there's always the option of a custom CNC build with an 1185 movement. This release offers a "good enough" alternative for those of us who don't feel like spending mid-high 4 figures on this reference and that is a win in my book.
No rep is or will ever be perfect. One can either turn into a frustrated Don Quixote in trying to find perfection in the rep world or enjoy the available reps for what they are despite their flaws. I chose the latter as, like a very wise man always say, the watch will be 1:1 when the price is 1:1.

It's no doubt a good looking watch. But fact is by using gen spec as a measure it falls short. Can't see the nonsense here?Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
It might be a below average by your definition but it's not by others' definition. To each their own.
Bottom line is if you don't like it don't buy it but writing nonsense won't turn your own opinion and measure into facts.
I'd agree. I'd thought long and hard about getting a cnc case. I've also had 1185 donors watchlisted on c24 for years. I thought this was going to be it. I'm happy to wait for the next iteration. For now I've got an aps 26240, waiting for a decent gen dial to come up so I have time. This is above the average previously/currently available 26331 reps without going gen movement ($$$).
Its flaws are ones I can live with given the price until something else better comes along (if it ever does).
Can't after market dial this one. The subdials are in the wrong place.Guys it's a fake watch haha we're all friends here let's not get heated over a watch. Of course following "gen spec" it would fail since it's a 4801, there are 1185 based CNC builds for those who are detail orientated, even this one with some case work and repolish would be a-ok, a after market dial would also improve it but for the price it's sold at it's fine
Yes i know but you'll be surprised what after market dial makers will makeCan't after market dial this one. The subdials are in the wrong place.
i own the 15407 v2 and ordered the 26240 haha! I’ll await your 26331 pictures. What color did you pick? After ordering 26331 for2 days. My urge to order 15407 and 26240 is swelling.
