I recently purchased a watch from Chasing Time, and the transaction was smooth and hassle-free. I went for the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar 26579CB – White Ceramic APSF Best Edition, paired with a white ceramic bracelet (A5134 V3), for $748 USD + $30 USD shipping to Australia.
This is my first ceramic watch, and I was surprised by how lightweight it feels. Since the bracelet doesn’t fit, I’ll be sending it to a modder to remove seven links. The bracelet itself is very smooth and flexible—far more so than the links on a stainless steel bracelet I’ve experienced before. From what I can tell, the entire watch and bracelet seem to be made of ceramic.
I don’t have the expertise to provide an in-depth review, but I’d love to hear your thoughts and impressions on this model.
Thanks!
Ed

Where I need to be.
The problem with rep white ceramic cases is that they are often too translucent. Like it wants to be white but doesn’t dare to go all the way fully.

Looks like the "AP" is missing from this watch's rotor. It's apparently glued on to the rotor, right above the "Audemars Piguet" lettering, but the glue is not very strong. The metal sticker fell off my BBR rotor, but apparently was never applied in this APSF.

More blatantly, the 52-week indicator hand is supposed to be at the bottom of the hand stack. Here, it's at the top, and from the pictures appears to be a sweeping seconds hand and not a stationary week indictor.

Also, the day of the week hand and the leap year hand don't seem to be properly centered.
