Patek Tungsten Models Coming?

Had someone mention to me they had heard tungsten versions of several Nautilus models were coming. Seems very far fetched, though it would make a ton of sense given how many models come in WG, RG, Plat.

Anyone heard something similar? Would imagine there would be a decent market for this if true. Even a costly custom tungsten case / bracelet / clasp would find its market given how many CNC versions of the 5711 / 5712 are made.

There was a few pictures of promised builds here and there but nothing substantial

3K tungsten 5711.

This morning I saw these photos from a dealer in china that claims they are made by 3K which I’m guessing is 3KF. The price I was quoted was in excess of $3000 which is probably an astronomical middle man mark up. If anyone has any info drop a line below.

I think one of the things that is detrimental is that the fine details of a 5711 or 5167 case do not lend itself well to tungsten alloy cases. Additionally both the 5711, 5712, 5167, they're all quite thin, no more space to stack a tungsten ring inside to add weight capacity.

I've seen more full gold/custom builds than I have any tungsten builds from Patek ever.

Fair point on the thin cases / sections. It would be great if it were possible to have the gen weight on the precious metals versions without the cost of going full gold. Those builds are great though. Hillbilly has posted some 5712 and 5740 builds in full gold that look outstanding.

5712r thungsten case should be coming end of this year. It was already in development for a very long time but I didn’t want to buy a prototype. Now the waiting finally over. I will buy one for sure and will post news as soon as i know

It will be interesting to have the Tungsten Pateks as real gold is expensive, Rolex has a lot of these probably due to demand.
