Oh this looks nice. And since there is no exhibition case back, you won't be able to tell it isn't a free sprung balance. Will this have the painted or brushed ribs? I can't tell in the videos, although what ever they are they look very crisp. Hoping for brushed! Trying to figure out what color to get... Probably white? Looks thinner (I know it's not, but the contrast helps). Very exciting. Under 800? 😬
Skeleton looks correct and turns dark when light does not hit directly, closer than any 55 I’ve seen but the expensive free sprungs.

Really only a few negatives I can see.

-the text on the movement is a bit large, and the "C" in "RICHARD MILLE" on the upper part of the movement is a bit small compared to the other letters (the C actually looks the correct size).
-the yellow text is a tad bit light and not as deep/rich as on the gen
-the printed 1/5/7/11 hour markers are not lumed as they are on the gen.
-theres a slight detail of the ribs around the 4 mounting screws in the corners. They are fully brushed here, but on gen the area immediately surrounding the screws is black. Very small detail.

From what I can tell the rest of it looks very spot on. Feels like the best OOTB RM right now?

Some small details that look good:
-Ribs! They look great compared to other movements
-clear, seemingly real, shock jewel
-I don't see this mentioned much but there are 4 recessed screws, or something, in the lower portion of the movement. On gen, and here, they are silver. On the ZF they are black. Feels like a huge tell?

And the price is right. I think I may go for this.

It's definitely a step up, and for most part I really like it.

I'm just having a hard time seeing past the writing (Richard Mille) on the rib by the barrel between 12 & 1. On the gen it is quite subtle and blends into the rib. On this BBR it is so bright that it draws my eye straight to it. I'm not sure why they've done it like this as it wasn't so prominent on the previous version.

I went ahead an ordered one. This isn't the kind of watch I would wear very often, but wanted to see what all the fuss was about. This BBR RM release checks off a lot of concerns for me: decent NTPT pattern, brushed ribs, closed case back. As others have noted, the font is a bit bright on the movement, and the yellow text is light, but perhaps both can be attributed to the use of bright light when taking the dealer pics. In any case, nothing that I can't live with.

Will post some QC pics when purchase is approved.

APS 055 vs BBR 35
Both look like great watches, but the quality of the APS looks a step above.

Can anyone translate what was said?

Agreed that both look pretty good. The BBR 35 seems a bit thicker from the quick side shot in the video, but hard to tell. A quick search online shows the gen 35 at 14mm, and the gen 55 at 13mm, but also hard to tell what the precise thickness is. NTPT pattern looks good on both. Comes down to whether you want a closed or open case back? Both seem better than the ZF to me, personally.

Also saw on reddit that BBR has announced a "v4" of the RM55-01. So APSF might have some competition in that market.

The ASPF and ZF are both missing the silver "screw" like things on the movement bridge. They have blank black holes. It's very noticable to me and the BBR has this detail correct. But the BBR definitely seems less shiny in the NPT than the ASPF and thicker (but unsure on what's actually accurate there). The writing on the BBR movement is also odd. They always get these tiny details wrong. Maybe that v4 will get irlt right...

yes the color on the DD movement bridge connections are not as silver as gen. Though in my opinion, the luster of the NTPT and overall finish is much more important to make this seem like it is actually a watch that retailed for $100,000. The vast majority of the population has not comparatively studied the innerworkings of the RMUL2 movement like we have, but overall watch quality is definitely occam's razor when guessing the authenticity of a watch of this price tag.

To my eye the "RICHARD MILLE" font on the ASPF is wrong.

A better NTPT, color and font correction would improve this watch to an amazing level

...and here's the video:

Look not bad, over all the movement Look better then ZF and APS rm055 movement. only thing I don't like is the false huge "RICHARD MILLER" on the bridge and wrong carbon pattern on the case. Do RM35 have no carbon case?

Anyone have one of these in-hand? They honestly look fantastic from the dealer photos I've seen

I've had mine for a couple weeks now. I haven't been much of a fan of RM watches, both gen and rep due to their size and ridiculous gen price. I still bought the BBR because I was curious what all fuss was about, the flaws were relatively minor, and the rep price was not unreasonable.

After having worn it for a while, I have to admit that the rep is, as you said, fantastic. The NTPT looks good in low and bright light conditions. The "ribs" that are in my opinion a major flaw in the ZF 55 reps, and are better but still not great in APSF reps, are actually pretty good in the BBR 35-01 -- they have nice brushing and reflect light at certain angles while turning darker grey at other angles.

I'm sure this will sound like heresy to some, but with the closed case back, I personally don't think paying thousands extra for a vaucher clone is worth the incremental improvement in looks under a magnifying glass. The watch is definitely growing in my esteem, though I'm not sure what place it has in my daily rotation due to the unique looks and assumptions anyone familiar with the brand will have about my lifestyle choices. Here are some pics and videos:
