IWC Ingenieur - difference between factories?

Hello, I did a lot of research into previous posts regarding the Ingenieur. Seems like general consensus V7 is the best factory for them. I couldn't find much about GHF.
Also a local TD said he has one from ZF, but I thought ZF didn't make the Ingenieur? I know they've done other IWC models. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also I know no one rep is perfect, but V7 is close as it gets. What are the downsides for the GHF compared to V7? also what are people paying for a V7? I am getting $400 for GHF and the ZF(?) from local TD.

Bezel is too wide on GHF version. But just a couple days ago, I was taking another look at the petrol dial in pics on a TD’s site and thinking the colour might be more accurate than V7F’s, at least in comparison to the official iwc pics of the watch (which may involve some rendering or optimization). That said, I have seen pics of the gen petrol dial that look remarkably like V7F’s.

GHF isnt known for quality, I wouldnt bother with a no name factory (with a name) lol.

Ahh thank you for this. The color did seem to have a little more pop in the GHF compared to V7F, for aqua. But V7F had superior polishing at least.
