Interesting idea. A few thoughts:

1. It didn’t work for me when I tried searching “116500” “VSF Datejust” “Daytona” and a few other phrases. I assume it’s down due to some alpha bug.
2. I’m not sure this is something that will be allowed (let alone endorsed) by the RWI powers that be since it notionally includes dealers who are not TDs here.
3. This is an ambitious project since rep pricing is often a function of your relationship with your TD and how you are paying. Discounts for crypto / PayPal F&F payments to certain TDs can be material. Likewise keeping track of which TDs are running sales via Telegram, WeChat, Reddit, etc will also be a challenge.
4. Price differences are real, but often aren’t big enough to change buying behavior… for me $20-$40 more to buy from a TD I’ve dealt with in the past is a premium I’m willing to pay.
5. Rather than a search engine, a (regularly updated) comparison matrix of the pricing of the most popular models from a selection of TDs might be more “new user” friendly way to present this information.

@Lukamodric as @TESLA760 pointed out, very few if any members here are interested in models by price. If you let TD A know that TD B has so-and-so model at $XXX, they'll probably price match anyway. Especially if you have an ongoing relationship with a TD.

Also, your tool needs to factor in shipping costs, which vary from TD to TD. And how many reps a dealer with include in a single shipped package to reduce shipping. And discounts. If it doesn't, it's pretty pointless.

Not all dealers are equal, and prices can reflect that. One works better for some, while another TD works better for someone else. Some do their own QC before sending a buyer photos. Some TDs offer discounts that others dont. Some dealers have better relationships with certain factories.

It's a neat idea, but like many things in life, there's more nuance than meets the eye.

I think I’ll stick with the TD’s I’ve been using for years rather than trying to save $50 rolling the dice with one I have never used.

I am still at the point where I am trying out the TDs, trusting on RWI's system.

Price comp across TD isn't a factor in my decisions

Thank you very much for your effort. The tool works on my Chrome Version 119.0.6045.199 (Offizieller Build) (x86_64) flawless.
It gives me an overview on the Quality & Price variant range.
I am very surprised to see that a 116500 can vary from $298.00 to $928.00 based on buyer's expectations.
I will use the tool and report any issues..
Hopefully the TD are maintaining their pages regularly, cause that's what the tool needs.

It's really not that surprising. Budget 7750 time bomb movement to full clone 4130. There's generally reps to suit all pockets.

It doesn't work very well : you get all the prices even if you ask from min to max price...

There was a small Issue while updating the data earlier on, its fixed already, sorry for that.
I will create a sublink specially for RWI, that only features RWI TD's, Update will follow in 4h
I am in Contact with all TD's, to also make it more friendly for them, some cooperations for Coupon Codes have already happened. I dont gain any monetary value from this, I just asked for Codes for my Website.
Theres also a Modal, which explains that the cheapest price doesnt reflect the best customer service etc. I hope someone read it, even tho its made with AI ^^.
I wanted to create a AIO Solution, this is more for the advanced user that knows which factory he wants with the right reference etc. Ill work on making it more new-user friendly with the RWI TD Update.

It seems like a good idea for new users who only buy maybe 1-10 watches. I think for more experienced rep people price is a minimal factor when choosing who to buy from. Again there really are no short cuts in this game if you want the best outcome/fun/headaches from it. I know it sounds like a cliché at this point but nothing beats reading and research.
