So you're saying that all criminals in Spain are foreigners, no Spanish involved. I'd be careful with such simplistic generalization.
No, of course that many criminals are Spanish people, french, German, etc .. but I'd a fact that specialized criminals in watches business from east Europe works organizated in Spain.
Rgds.

Quick update for those of you left wondering what happened with this saga:

Spanish police have contacted me, and there will be a trial within the next few months. Police told me that they have at least 1 person on the hook for the robbery, which occurred on 10/03/22, nearly 12 months back.

Incredible news which reinforces my trust in the Spanish investigative capacities and judicial system.

Incredible story. Damn informative. Nowadays, it is no longer possible to trust anyone. Therefore, I only buy originals from CHRONEXT and have them checked immediately at Konzi. Good that everything went smoothly for you in the end. Which I just don't understand at all. This Bräu should have checked the watches. It is not the first time that fakes or stolen goods are sold at trade fairs. It often happened in Munich. I would not make the accusations by name against such people public because it is also legally very dangerous. I don't know a bräu. But two Andreas who have the same last name 😂.

Well that's great news, it doesn't get your stuff back but someone will pay for robbing you.

It's good that someone pays. Last year, someone drove me to the car in the parking lot at the supermarket. Unfortunately, I didn't have a fully comprehensive insurance for this car. Complaint against unknown. The procedure was discontinued in March 2023. I hope he gets the rest back when the bird sings in court. People watch out, currently there are more frauds with Ukrainian documents. If the offer is too good. Let it be.

I have a question, probably a stupid one. If your Rolex rep was stolen from your wrist, would you report it to the police? And if you did report it, would you tell them it was a Rep?

I don't think the question is stupid. Phew, I don't know if I would report it. Especially in Germany, if the prosecutor gets his hands on it.... With the young aspiring officials, you never know what will come out of it. Could be a shot in the knee. But you often read that people are attacked on vacation. I might do it there.'s a few things. For this reason, I only came to Reps.

In Germany it's allowed to own reps. No problem. If you say it's gen and they recover it... Other story.
In Italy there's also strict rules about the commerce of reps, but it's allowed to own "for personal use" :ROFLMAO:

IThat's clear to me. But since a lot of crap is being built so that, as you can see, you could be subject to commercial trade. With so many watches you have at home. I wouldn't dare and think twice about reporting something like that in Germany.

The presumption of innocence is quite a strong principle in the German legal system, if you have a half good lawyer you're ok, it's up to the prosecution to demonstrate malicious intent, and i hardly believe the endeavor would be worth the effort for them. Unless we're talking about a whole room full of reps, as in the hundreds, but even then, if they're nicely kept as a collection and not packaged or stickered it would be hard to demonstrate you had intent to sell; that is, if your collection isn't displayed showroom-style.
Edit: but yes, I'd probably consult a lawyer before thinking about going to the police just to make sure...

The police did some really good police work and finally returned these to me yesterday!

New scratches and dents = incredible journey!

The police are still trying to find the culprits and they told me they have a really strong lead. If I have any more news I will update.
So did the police give you back your replica PAMs? Did you tell them they were Rep when you reported it?

Yes, I got 2 watches returned (this was detailed somewhere in this thread after I found two of them for sale on Chrono24 as gens!!!) and yes I reported them as reps.

It is important to declare anything stolen - and legal - to the police as soon as possible (with serial numbers and photos) because if anybody finds your stolen goods later then the police may be able to trace them back to the f??king thieves. That logic worked out in my case, and there will soon be a criminal trial since the robbery was a felony.

I wish those f??ckers would just give me back the rest of my belongings.

Once the trial ends there will update here - I won't leave you guys hanging.

I hope you get your belongings back and catch the bastards.

I find it very interesting that you informed the police that they were replicas, and they still searched for them and returned them to you, being a supposedly illegal good. They didn't put any impediment to you?

I actually had a fun discussion with one of the officers who had a cool collection of reps!

what a great thread, posting here just so i get notified how this thing develops.

Im really glad you got at least some of your watches back OP, no clue what i would do if my collection got stolen.
I sadly dont have much faith in the police after my (very expensive) bike was stolen 2 years ago. After i reported it, a female officer came, took some pictures of the lock they cut to get to the storage area and took a report. Nothing since then, i provided receipts, pictures and warranty papers for damn near every part that was on that thing, some of them extremely rare and /or custom made.

How do you get an AD to verify these days… some things are so well made, I highly doubt an AD would be able to tell some of the reps here from gen…
