Can you really get a Daytona with a Swiss 4130 movement?

My trusted dealer (Lucy) has told me that you cannot get a Daytona with Swiss 4130, and only with an Asian movement from noob.

Nah, you can't get a Submariner with a Swiss 4130 movement in either.

You can get various reps with "alleged" Swiss movements in - but there's always debate over the quality of any "Swiss" movement supplied in a watch out of China.

None of the replica websites sell Swiss movements (except some with gen ETA) that I know of. If you want to buy a gen Rolex movement and put it into your Noob, you have it. There are trusted watch makers in this forum who can do that for you. Gen 4130 is expensive and hard to source but gen 3135 is available a lot.

these gus are right. No way any gen movement is going into a rep Daytona. All you need to do to prove it to yourself is go to e-bay and search for "Rolex 4130 movement" & you will see a bunch of movement parts that sell for crazy expensive prices. Just the rotor alone sells for like $350. Btw, the rotor is only 1 part out of 200+ parts that make up the movement.

I don't really know how much one would expect to pay for a gen Rolex 4130 movement, but I can assure you it is a whole lot more than than the entire rep Noob Daytona

The Rolex caliber 4130 movement costs $4,000 plus by itself, So unless you're buying a custom-built Franken piece with a genuine movement in it, The answer is no they don't come with Swiss movement. The Asian clone 4130 is actually a very good movement though overall.

I just thought maybe there is a "Swiss made" movement that is not a "gen" movement that they put into some replicas? Is that true? For example, a different Swiss movement maker (not Gen) that sells them to China.

No swiss movement maker will sell to China, it will defeat the economics of why the cheap rep market exists in the first place.
