Ridiculous release. Seems like they’re not even trying.
As for the decorated movement, even if it's not a clone, it seems accurate to me. The problem of the base hand remains, i agree, but at least there are some interestibg video-shock and we have wait for the first QC pics, it doesn't seem so terrible to me. The Green Dial version seems accurate, in the engravings even on the clasp, as different as gen, the dial looks very good. I disagree with the definition “ridiculous release”. IMHO obviously

I haven't been able to find a video on bilibili or other platforms showing the functionality of the watch for date skipping. Only one video on qq.

Can anyone confirm or not if this has date skipping at the second stop?

Rough translation:

-Difference is very small with 15202, biggest difference is the 50th anniversary rotor on the back
-There is definitely a difference in the green colour however the difference is very slight and it also has sunburst on the dial
-The blue colour on the dial is very well controlled(?) and the texture is very full
-Thickness of gen is 8.1mm and ZF is 8.8, the difference is very little
-Made of 316L stainless steel
-Side of the case has fine brushing, polishing on the edge is very reflective and the bezel is also well brushed
-Slightly sunken screws on the bezel and is gen-like
-Datewheel font size and the background colour is correct
-Rehaut is polished to an almost mirror like finish
-Each bracelet link has been finely brushed
-First link's range of motion is still not quite wide enough, would be better if it had a little more range of motion
-AP engraving on the clasp is quite deep
-Engraving around the exhibition caseback is crisp and clear
-Through the sapphire glass, you can see the details of the movement
-ZF are using a Miyota 9015 decorated to look like a 7121 movement, can see some of the gears are purely for decorative purposes
-Polishing of the rotor and bits and pieces of the movement is good
-The datewheel turns in the opposite direction to the gen and it is also a slow date change and not an instant change

I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't have an instant date change like the gen 16202 as the Miyota 9015 is capable of that

Doesn't look like it has a second stop

Thank you for the great job! My inexperienced eye sees no obvious differences in the rotor. What do you think?

Thank you very much for this.

I wonder if I can modify the movement with spare miyota 9015s I have and add the date quick change component to the keyless and add the second stop. There should be enough room, but if it's a customized movement then it would not work.

I'm thinking I'll try this on my existing ZF 15202, as it should be the same movement.

There definitely is room for improvement regarding gen likeness but man this green does look really nice :) will probably pull the trigger on the green one after CNY so very excited to see it in person :)

The miyota 9015 movement isn’t capable of an instant date change. It will always have a slow transition date change.

It’s not possible to modify the miyota 9015 to feature an instant date change.

Here some photos, with artificial and natural light. There are many really well-groomed details imho, such as the clasp, the engravigs and the movement decorations. I really like the sunburst effect of the dial. Obviously it's much lighter than the platinum gen, which I tried on my wrist some time ago. Overall I think it's a good rep, especially for the great impression of the changing color of the dial.
