How many get discounts from their AD

I was curious as to how many people get discounts at their AD, including the peak Era (covid initial time) so 2020 till now? Also do they give discounts on those ''hot' models like daytonas or whayever. And a question for folks who actually have a gen panda,how long was the wait? Is it really 10 years? Is a rootbeer really 3-4 year wait?

Yes... it is true, especially in 2021.

Since I have been to AD is why I'm asking. From what I understand, there really is no wait list. I asked for a panda and got it within 2 months, pepsi jubilee under a month, rootbeer did take about 2 months.

1 particular watch that seems difficult is the daytona hulk, from what I understand, even the large AD'S get an allocation of 1 per year.

I think discounts have stopped for at least 2 years now.
Regarding waiting time, I think it depends on how much you've spent already (that's my experience with Rolex at least, haven't bothered with other brands)

Short timeline of my Rolex history so far:
- July 2016, walked in a Rolex boutique, found a hulk, bought it at 10% discount
-August 2020 added a 114060 and a SD43 in waiting list. Didn't get the 114060 as it got discontinued a month later. SD43 came Nov'20, paid full price
-November 2020 added a 126334 rhodium and a 126610LN in waiting list. DJ came a month later, sub came 3 weeks ago (2 years waiting)
- January 2021 added a two tone rose gold DJ41 Wimbledon which came in April'21, paid full price
- April 2022 added a GMT Sprite, a DJ41 green motif dial and a 136660. Haven't received anything yet.

If we speak about Omega, I got a SM300 gray blue at 13% discount as soon as I walked in the boutique (June'22) and also got a speedy hesalite within 1 day of ordering (was in stock at another branch) at 10% discount (was also lucky enough to get 11% off taxes on discounted price)

I can prove it... it can happen and has happened. You're correct in saying that it was a difficult time to get watches, especially anything steel sports models

You're time period of dj41's were difficult as they were one of the highest demand at the time. So I see You're relationship with your AD. Can I ask if you purchased 2 dj41's within 3 months under your name?

I was lucky to just be offered the sub. I guess I'm lucky to have a few AD'S text me their watches as they receive. Essentially you can have AD order any Rolex you want. Additionally, they infact do have more inventory in the back at all times.

I can show you receipts. That reflect the discounts. I'm assuming this is sarcasm... I guess your mind works in a specific way, it doesn't mean that I would do the same. If you're comment is implying that my proof would be taking images off the internet and try and pass them off as mine, you're a fool. When my allocation comes, I'll message if you want. If you want I can introduce you to my AD'S and you can ask them the validity. I'll probably ask them to never give you an allocation for being an a hole. But who knows, why would they listen to me.....

Looks like you aren't far from south coast plaza. If you are, you should know that there is a rolex boutique (tourneau). And also the tourneau store for pp, and an ap boutique. I have no problem introducing you to my contacts there either. If you're calling bs, I'm saying you can verify. Wish some people here would respond when called out on their bs.
