Strap is surprisingly good vs GEN. Buckle looks very GEN as well. NATO strap a tad stiff vs GEN but looks good. Regrading the xtal, if I use the watch regularly I might consider it. OOTB imho I think it looks great.

Btw stitching on the strap is VERY good, 9/10 ! I can be a bit OCD about this.

Its very simple. Simplistic. My thought exactly.
The ceramic case gives it a light weight feel and with the dial almost looks like a Swatch https://www.swatch.com/no-no/indigo-swing-so28n108/SO28N108.html
Im very happy with it.

41 looks like a 39mm

It's not about this watch, but the Mark 18 in general. But if you want the best Mark 18, go with V7. I have a V7 Mark 18 and it blew me away how well made it was. My Chinese dealers confirmed that V7 makes better Mark 18's than M+.
