Gen casebacks pop up sometimes so they aren’t impossible to obtain. I would second the gen caseback

I would get one...they are rare though...the aliexpress caseback is really cheap...in looks and feel.

I just remembered that the era of the 2531.80 SMPs, they don't have anti magnetic covers, I think it only started in the Co-Axial movement SMPs.
Anyways, another heads up, the OG closed cartel rep SMPs - the ones with the correct He Valve position and thickness (plus serial numbers stamped on the lugs) had very nice casebacks that were thin and were almost accurately made.
I reckon if you could hunt one down, that would complete this beautiful timepice of yours.
I can tell it had the best rep caseback since I had one and immaturely sold it now I deeply regretted that decision!

Looking forward to your second franken and that SMP case you've sold me.

Since I robbed my Blue SMPc for the case on this project...had to order another kit...now back in rotation!

When you purchased this second kit, do you happen to know if it was the same version as the blue SMPc case you used for this build? Would a possible tell be if the bracelet uses screws vs pins? I’m trying to determine the viability of using a gen bezel with the cases bosshua007/rafflesdials are selling as you mentioned the gen bezel didn’t work with the black SMPc case. Thanks for detailed build guide throughout the thread!
