This is getting a bit confusing.
It means GF and not GMF, right?
And GF = ORF

And you say I don't have a good sex life, you are willing to pay for it. as for Mr Ramsey, he is like Vegas Fake, During Covid sacked his staff and brought another Ferrari, can't stand him. he is perfect for Vegas. Why i am so " confrontational " is because I think you are only here to wind people up. Anyway as the American's say "talk to the hand" but before i go read this book Casino Women, shows how badly the Casino's treat their staff, that's the real Vegas, not the one in your head.

Not once have I paid for sex in my life so that’s irrelevant. You are making false assumptions, and being a hater. I am sharing my own experiences and opinions and you are getting angry simply because my views are different from yours which means lack of maturity. As men we can agree to disagree. I don’t know about Casino life my wife owns a business and I work as a Courthouse Officer and make music for Sony on the side. That’s your opinion but people in Casinos make $22hr, full medical benefits, tips, retirement plan etc so you are wrong, this is my city you know nothing about. You sound like children fighting someone you don’t know. All I said was that ORF is a terrible watch, there is many comparisons in this thread showing how awful it is if you know what you are looking for, you can easily tell it’s fake in someone’s wrist. That’s embarrassing, I advised getting an SMP 300 since no one would be able to tell in your wrist since it looks Fantastic and had “Watchfinder CO” who are one of the most reputable watch sellers in the world agree. I am out.

Let’s draw a line under this Vegas nonsense now please fellas.

Let’s keep this fantastic and informative thread about the watch and help those who haven’t got one to get the best version they can.

I was removing my watch and realised that I forgot how good looking that engraved caseback really is. Simple and straight to the point. Hard to really appreciate it when its not seen often enough.

Isn't ORF only making the A8806 version?
PolonusTM are you sure the ORF NTTD that you reviewed housing the 2824 movement?
I don't seem to have read ORF has V1, V2 for their NTTD

Both watches use Asian 28xx clone with decorative bridges/plates.

BTW does anyone know how to remove stem from these movements? Decorative plates…. :(

if I recall correctly i didnt have to remove the deco plate on my VSF SMP 300M to get to the stem removal button. Not sure it its the same on these NTTDs. Even removing the deco plate is not a big deal though.

On this watch it is rather a decorative, uniform cage holding the movement instead of separate plates. That’s a problem.

same on the VSF SMP 300m. I just called it deco plate, but rather it is a deco housing/ case. To release the case you need to undo the centre screw in the centre of the rotor. But if its the same as the normal SMP, the you dont need to, to remove the stem. May I ask what you are trying to do?

SAPPHIRE: both are wrong: - GF version is a bit too flat - VSF version is too „swollen” with way too much distortion Comparing with photos - the GEN is something in between of these two. I would like to choose VSF but it’s distortion is too much for me. QUOTE said:
I actually can’t agree about the distortion on the vsf. When comparing my v4 with gen images the dome is very comparable as is the distortion when seen through and angle, I’d actually say the gen has more than my vsf from similar angles.

Here is mr burgundy’s comparison of vsfv2 to gen and to me they appear very similar

The vsf v2 markers do seem a little smaller than gen but I believe the v3/4 had an updated dial and insert and are a little closer.

Ok so lighting is very different but the angles are similar and as you can see, I would say the distortion in the gen crystal is more than the vsf, so perhaps the edges of the dome crystal are a different shape/angle/thickness on the gen. barely a thing for me though. Like I say the watch is a replica film prop and for that reason I’m very happy with this version and won’t likely be upgrading to a gen nato or ti bracelet. It can just be a nice little throw on in my collection to give a nice little ‘double 0’ feeling now and again!

Yes. Having handled the gen a few times, I can confirm that the distortion of the crystal on the VSF is slightly different with the gen. I think its because the shape of the gen crystal is ever so slightly different to the rep, hence a different distortion. But as mentioned above, it doesn't really bother me as well nor is it a dealbreaker. The domed crystal still really stands out on the rep and is one of my favourite parts about the watch. An awesome piece to have either way.
