You have to consult Fakemaster on prices. To the best of my recollection all his builds run in about the same price range.

Ok, thanks. Was a little confused. I figured the blue and black TTs you got from Fakey probably each cost about the same ($115), but you suggested to a guy in the black TT thread that he should make an offer of $200 for one from Fakey.

Thanks for clarifying.

Can't go wrong with the WM9 - Best TT Sub out there right now. :)

I would've gotten a WM9 TT but I'm busy on my current one, it's a TW Best modded TT Sub, it has a solid 18K TT bracelet, gen 18K gold crown/tube and verified ETA movement. All it needs is a gen dial and a solid gold bezel which I'm trying to source right now and it's finished. :q5:

THAT will be awesome! I can't mod - afraid to take the back off the case. LOL. Maybe someday.

I know you'll post it up when done. I'll be looking for it. I think the TT subs, either black or blue, are fantastic looking timepieces.

Yep, I'll post pics once I'm done adding all the parts, the dial is the hardest part since I take ages to decide, I'm thinking either a Mother of Pearl Serti dial or Champagne Serti dial.

Ahhh, cool. I have a gen TT datejust with champagne dial (not serti) and I love it. It's probably a classic now (25 years old) and it still looks great and I like it as much now as the day I got it.

I bet it looks great, nothing better than vintage Rolex! :)

I don't know if Fakemaster still builds FG subs or not. I suggested OFFER (the operative word) $200 because you are more likely to get what you want if you outbid others seeking his time and attention. OFFER $300 and maybe you can get what you want sooner. OFFER blkm twice what he normally charges for one of his builds and he may well put you in front of the waiting line. Get it? That was my suggestion. Don't know why people so misconstrued my comment.

Yeah, well... $200-$300 for a 21J Sub that is inaccurate to boot is overkill, for that price range [a little bit more to be fair] you'd better get a TT WM9 sub with a gen ETA movement, QC checked by BK and assembled by BK... not to mention the WM9 is waaaaay more accurate and the gold wrap [Not plated] is excellent.

Besides, paying for attention is, to be quite honest, dumb. Plus, who wouldn't put you in front of the line if you paid them double? Same goes with a sale, one guy offered you your asking price while another offered you twice what you were asking, who would you choose? Exactly.
