Here you go.

The difference in hands is a damn shame..hopefully V2 fixes it..

If you are referring to the sloping of the hands it is actually present on the rep (maybe not to the same degree as the gen). Its just that the pics are all taken at an angle that does not show it. But here again, everything on the dial is so small that you can't really see any details unless the watch is 10cm from your eyes.

I may be totally mistaken here but in my experience rep factories make very good V1s when they don't expect to make subsequent versions. VCs have in the past not been very popular in the rep world. Time will tell whether there will be a V2 of this watch I suppose.

This is a great watch. Can anyone confirm the lug width and Clasp width for leather strap for this please?
Is it 24mm/20mm?

Thx for your insight! But I did NOT mean the sloping of tbe hands. I meant the lume fill size. They seem to differ a lot. :(

Update rotor noise:

Besides generic deco removal, the rotor can easily be removed by the removal of three screws in the center. After greasing up the bearings appropriately, the rotor is now dead silent.

Did you take some photos of the process? It’d be great if you can share!

Hi. Can someone confirm strap sizing.
I've placed an order but would also like to look out for an alligator/rubber strap. Is the size 24/20 mm ?
Thanks.

No pictures taken, I'm afraid. But then again, the process is very simple and easy to do. Check other miyota 9015 rotor removal tutorials for further reference.

I noticed something strange today while studying pictures of the Gen bracelet. Does anyone know why this link (marked in the picture) is just a plain link, i.e. without the maltese cross profile ?

The answer you seek is already in your presented photograph.

This link as well as it's opposite one on the clasp serve as micro adjustments. You can pull them out to enlengthen the bracelet or otherwise shorten if already pulled out.

You can see it on the picture where the upper one is pulled out and the one you placed your rectangular on is not.

Hi thanks for your answer, but that's not correct. The micro adjustment is on the clasp end links themselves. I am talking about the link just next to that. Look carefully and you will see that just one side is a plain link; it's opposite number on the other side has the maltese profiling.

Here's another pic from another forum where you can see more clearly:

Same again on my rep bracelet.
It's great that the rep factory has picked up this detail.
But my question is why would VC themselves have this in their design?

Its the half link and was not profiled on the 2nd gen overseas either (pic below of 47040 links) . Not sure why - guess it might look a bit odd as groove is quite long on the normal links

Cool - that makes sense - thanks. When I resized (shortened) my bracelet I should have taken out the half link. Now that I see it, I can't unsee it. It's messing with my OCD. But the bracelet screws on this XF Rep are really cheap quality so I don't think I will mess with it.

Ah very well. I might have misinterpreted what you were referring to. But yes, as otherwise already said, this is the half-link and it certainly provides some asymmetry in there.

I should also post some photos of my new acquisition. Very impressed with this model. It's restored my faith in reps as I was disappointed with the factories abilities to make versions that were 1:1 thickness as gens. This comes pretty darn close.
