Looks okey but for me three things are way off on the dial : cross has zero depth, blue markers are way too dark and minute hand base is flat (should be cone shaped)

Otherwise it is a lovely watch

Quick-change looks somewhat decent. Can't make anything out of bracelet micro-adjustment capabilities though.

Yeah those markers are almost black and apparently intentional

The flat VC cross is incredibly ugly and is an instant tell. No need to see the genuine watch to know, VC would never make something that plain and rough.

I am interested to see how the quick adjustment in the clasp plays out. I have never had any overseas rep so am unsure about that feature, yet I have heard very good things about the JJF bracelet.

I had the BP 4500v, it works, a bit rough but it works. The problem is we don't have any aftermarket leather/rubber straps to put in.

By the way if you check other Overseas reps from BP or even the much appreciated JJF cross is exactly the same, completely flat. I guess we are holding XF to a much higher standard, aren't we?

BP was never good, that’s why we expect this one way more.
JJF was never available since I joined RWI, but the cross on it didn’t look this bad. Of course it’s not VC level of finish but at least you can see some curvy details.

looks pretty flat to me...

I just checked all Overseas releases till now on Trusty, including the dual time from TWF, not a single one has a 3d cross, all flat. This XF release appears far superior in all other details, IMO we shouldn't complain too much...

Ah I see. Check PT video and few wristies here, you’ll see it a little different; so maybe TT lighting didn’t help. I’ll wait for the videos/additional sources of photo anyway.

Most/all VC reps are bad with the cross, you are right. Another over-expectation I guess. But there’re so many great reps these days, I can wait
