JJF Overseas White dial on Rubber Review and photos

Just received this from Trusty

Frankly I am blown away

The watch is outstanding in every way definitely Super Rep and definitely NWBIG

The finish is out standing on the case and bezel. It has a totally Gen feel about it.

The dial is incredible as are the markers and hands. The rubber strap is great. I am not a huge lover of Rubber, but even less of bracelets. I will at some point get a custom made Gator for it.

I have seen reports of a misspelling on the inside of the clasp. I can confirm that this has been corrected
All markings and spelling are correct on both watch and strap

The date sits perfectly central and aligned The crystal quality is great. They have done a thoroughly great job on this watch. I put it up there with V4 Noob Pam 111. V6F Cartier Santos XL and JF OP Red Grape. The watch is as good as it gets. It has the added advantage of the almost indestructible and infinitely serviceable Miyota 9015.

If the rotor is noisey , I can't hear it ( Bit on the deaf side)

If I am hyper critical, it would be possible to improve the quality of the engraving on the back.

Overall there is nothing negative to say about this watch. Closed backs are great, I hate deco plates.

Why would you buy Gen when you can buy this ?

Incredible pics. I have the black dial version and love it a lot. Main issue for me was the rotor sound - which was quickly fixed with some lube.

It's a comfortable watch to wear. Looks stunning. Well built. Quite versatile. Does not draw as much attention as the AP RO or PP Nauty (which is good imo).

Great review, thanks for sharing! It's a stunning watch and looks great on your wrist - nice photography too.

Personally I'd prefer it to be based on an eta clone so I could swap in a top grade movement in the future but at this price point this is a minor gripe. Might just have to get it and wear it out of the box - by the looks of it very happily!

Thanks for the review and nice shots ! The difference is negligible IMO, even the thickness is about .5mm? I guess it all comes down to price now as I think JJF make a compromise to drop the price from $468 to $418 (with bracelet)
