First set of pictures is gen, at least the movement. Is Rolex using movement tab on the 126610?

Or they finally figured out the single balance.

First attempt and these guys get a well aligned rehaut engraving. I don't understand why so many more established factories still screw that part up

Because it's a solid round piece that gets lasered from the top, whereas rolex has a laser that comes up in the middle and lasers it round and from level position.

Because it's a machine that does it, not a watchmakers hand.

I'm sure you're right but that doesn't explain why ZF and green factory can do it right on their 1st attempt while noob and ARF used to get it right but don't anymore.

No it’s moulded then cnc’ed and polished. Same process for gen case and btw gen case isn’t hand made.

No it's not handmade but it's refined by hand and polished by hand. This is a process that is never going to be reproduced.

Rolex seem To be using tabs to hold the 3235 movement in the datejust and others as the the main plate where the screw mount holes seems to be a smaller diameter to the dial size. This creates a large gap between the case and the mounting point so a tab is required. You can see the difference here
