After the LN and the half Gold GMT, ARF is finally ready for the big time models (Batman and Pepsi). Looking forward to the release.

And ARF still doesn't want to fix the sharp hour markers? Every other maker and even the complacent Noob is fixing it already.

Angus it’s looking great. Nice blue and smooth transition points. Is that a new DW I see?

The 18 color transition point is too high, there should be no blue in the 8 holes. But it's probably too late to change that now.

Insert markers look OK, thickness and fonts are good. The blue color is good. The fill paint is more granulated in color than the LN and looks thicker. Hope it holds up better than the LN.

Hands are exceptional as always, datewheel looks a little thin but better than too FAT for sure. Hope they didn't set the crystal so high that a gen-spec replacement ruins the date mag like the LN.

It's past time for ARF to start using rounded corner markers. Those square corner markers look cheap and basic.

The biggest question - what movement is it? It will be a major letdown if they are still clinging onto the SH3186. They need to get with the rest of the enlightened factories and use the VR3185.

Here an unknown small factory can source dials with rounded hour markers, hey ARF c'mon man!

Dial looks a bit rough, hope this is smoothed out but at a glance I like it. as KJ has pointed out the transition points on the insert aren't quite the best but the font and coloring look great! Love the crystal too. Hope it has a decent movement.

The blue on the bezel looks great. Everything else can be fixed, but the cost of a gen Batman insert is prohibitive. Bring it in

The insert look shitty to me. Specifically the 1s. As this has been a weak point for many inserts its the first thing I look at and the serrifs on the 1s look fat.

I am not very impressed and I am not sure I shoud be.
ARF should stop to use those square cheap dial markers. Every other factory is now using rounded markers, they should do the same.
Case on this one is a bit fantasy. Totally wrong CGs and fat lugs. Another very weak point of ARF. The Batman is a very sexy piece and if they make it fat and clumsy they ruin it.
Very pleased with the thinner dw. I hope they have switched to VR, otherwise their SH is pure crap. Insert we will see in real life. Wrong transition point.

Let’s see if competitors can do it better.

Bezel insert looks great - no point in saying it isn't the best one to date.

But the dial looks like its from a 5-year-old rep - no excuss for rounded markers now.
Looks like they ditched the cold white lume as well...
