Does anyone have both Noob's 116500 White and the 116519 by them? I really like my 116519 to the point that I am interested in their 116500. Is the quality the same? Does it wear similarly?

Pretty good gen vs v4 video. https://youtu.be/GAQK6senAsY

once again it confirms the out the box quality of the Noob

And it confirms that if you really want a perfect result, go ARF dial, gen spec gasket, CF bezel and a ARF clasp :) And you will have a watch that’s pretty much indistinguishable from gen :)

the writings in the arf dial are different from the gen.

No they are not, there are good and bad ARF dials, just like there are good and bad noob dials. I don’t know where you found that example, but If you read this tread, there are plenty of examples of really good ARF dials.

This has been getting some wrist today, I think it deserves more attention as I seem spend so much time wearing Subs. I think I'll add a white one.

How are you liking the Noob Daytona quality compared to the VSF subs? I am thinking about getting a Panda myself. I love their 116519 and am curious how the 116500 quality is.

Folks, here comes my question: do we still need to replace V4 black dial with ARF black dial? I know that V3 most black specimens were not that great, but these V4 blacks look really amazing.

It's comparable quality for sure, the bracelet feels good. The pushers feel a little crude but outside of that it's a quality enough rep to earn a 'keep' position in my box!

Question is.. Noob or ARF for a white dial? I think I should try ARF since I have a Noob.. does anyone have any recent QC pics of ARF?

The best 116500 black dial is Noob V3 first batch :)
This is mine with CF bezel, (now gen crystal gasket) and ARF bracelet...but I don't use it. Maybe I will sell it... :)

Is it worth the thicker case though?

Also, this is more regarding the 116519 and not the 116500, but I had a 116519 by ARF and the case was terrible. Not cause of thickness (which is one disadvantage surely) but the lugs were typicial soft ARF lugs, not nicely defined like gen or Noob. Also the SELs were popping out the case like a Platinum Daytona would. Once I got the Noob version it was so much worth the extra money. Not even for the unfrozen subdials, lol.

Aside from a thicker case I am curious if their 500 series has similar issues like the 519.

Hi.

I had them all. The new V4 panda is on par with the VSF 126610 LV I had. It feels very well made and has that gen luxurious feel to it. It usually has better SELs, unlike those lop sided VSF ones.

I find the 116500 more comfortable than the 116519. It's because that rubber strap was always digging into my wrist, I couldn't find the proper fit. The V4 bracelet is extremely comfortable and well made, no need to replace it with ARF anymore. The bezel is great, the dial is also good, if your TD can find a good unit (low Daytona text). The only gripe I have is the fact that it's a scratch magnet. I think it catches hairline scratches just by looking at it, especially those polished mid links. It's not a problem for most people, but certainly for an OCD psycho like me :)
