Yet another arrival at my front door, ordered last week from Sead's EU stock and shipped almost at "Amazon-speed" (TM). My wife's already wondering how many parcels are flying in from the UK. Back on topic, I unpacked this beauty a few minutes ago and couldn't be happier. First of all, Sead's QC is very good and he picked a nice specimen, everything is in its place and runs fine out of the box.

ARF really sells an amazing rep at this price point, the build quality is awesome and what you don't see on most pictures: that thing blings like a Casino entrance. Bracelet feels very nice without oil bath already, clasp opens with a solid click, bezel rotation also sounds really good. The polished and brushed surfaces look good, also really close up. Dial print could be a tiny bit sharper and more even, datewheel print is a little fuzzy, not visible with the naked eye though. Hands and markers are nicely polished, can't imagine how this could be done better even for two times the price. Bezel number/marker paint(?) looks good and more or less even, but probably not on gen level (don't have one for comparison at hand). Bezel insert is a liiiittle off counter-clockwise, but not really critical in my eyes. SELs look good from my point of view, although I'm not 100% sure if they should sit a little deeper against the lug. The "GENEVA" engraving on the clasp is a little wonky, but I don't stare at the open thing all day. Rehaut engraving is aligned and looks good even close up. That's my opinion so far, here's a bunch of images for your entertainment...

Looks great. Really nice pics. Can I ask what setup you're using to capture them?

Camera used: Pana GX8 + Olympus f2.8/60mm macro. Besides that, no refined studio approach as I was in a hurry and couldn't wait to show off to the world what I got. What I call "lazy bum setup": carton box with cordura cloth on top in front of a north facing window. No additional light sources or reflectors, no post processing in Lightroom - only minor adjustments on JPEGs with IrfanView...

Exactly the same setup as I use then. Nice. :D

Really good idea with the "lazy setup" too. The natural light has worked exceedingly well!

YellowFin I don't know if its the watch OOTB but your pics take it to the next level. The macro shots are amazing, I think there are 2 winner here - First your photography skills and second the watch ;) Wear in good health!!

On a different topic - I have tried taking similar pics with my f2.8 zoom but I think I need a macro lens now. Time to go convince the boss (wife) :p

Beautiful watch bro and great pics. Only suggestion I have is that forum photo presentation is improved markedly if you put a space between each photo. Run-on pics take away from individual focus!

Congrats on a great new piece. Agree with your assessment on ARF quality, what an awesome rep.

Thanks and good point - added spaces between the images.

OP, thanks for this. Great pics and really helpful, especially as I'm evaluating the SEL fit on my ARF v3, and compared to yours mine are pretty bad.

The attention to detail on these reps is pretty amazing. If the next version's case has accurate CGs, it will make a great base for a damn good franken, IMO.

Maybe a dumb question but what TD does Sead work with? Thanks

What great pics! My V3 also has the bezel insert a lil off counter clockwise, thinking if I should live with it or sent it to be realigned. Are you gonna do anything bout yours?

The bezel doesn't snap in place 1000% and has a little wiggle room. It can either sit spot on or a wee left... no reason to do anything about that from my point of view.

I was actually thinking of removing the insert from the bezel and to place it again, it does seems like a lot of trouble for something I hardly notice at all though.

Are the bezel numbers still good after a few months of use or faded off?

Trusted dealer bklm fixes bezel issues witH arf seadweller. I had him put in a Swiss eta to replace the shoddy Asian clone.

here is my shoddy photo skills compared to thread starter.
