Never heard of that before. BP does not usually do 2824s. If he has it in stock, ask for a pic and post it here. He has sent me pics of watches before buying in the past.

I had a BP 16610LN with a gen ETA 2824 in it, around a couple of years ago, bought it from Marvellous Replica. So yep, they exist. Whether they exist currently or not anymore, that I can't say...

Maybe it's one Sead found when he finally cleaned out the storage closet in the basement!

Hey sometimes oldies are goodies. I wish someone would find a TT 16710. I'd buy it in a second.

How is the AR from ppl that have them? I have an older BP 16610 with Miyota 9015 that I never wore since the poor AR compared to my TC’s and JF bugged me. I had it switched out to a TC xtal and it looks great now. But have to look at it more closely again since I didn’t know about the DWO being 1mm off to the R, but I guess nothing too crazy that stood out immediately to me. Have to dig it up and look at it again since I’ve been on a Panerai kick and haven’t looked at it that closely since I’ve gotten it back.

As with most rep Rolex crystals and particularly on less expensive ones, there is no AR at all on these crystals, not even on or under the cyclops. This was also the case with the 5 digit gens these models are replicating. Also the date window shift is present only on the ETA and DG versions. Placement is correct on the 3135 versions.

Rolex began putting an AR 'footprint' below the cyclops on the underside of the crystal in 2005. So a very small percentage of 5 digit models would have come with this feature. IDK if a replacement service crystal would have it or not. I've never broken or chipped my gen non AR crystal so it was never replaced during servicing.

Does anyone know which version of the 3135 BP uses for these 5 digit subs?

Love the watch - I want one! How is the plating holding up after having had it a while? Thanks
