1. SUPER REP = an expert could only find out comparing GEN vs REP or with a loupe and a few mins
2. FIRST CLASS = not worth buying gen, only an expert could tell looking at it closely without any Gen to compare

This is a topic about deciding wether the ARF 126334 DateJust 41 is a Super Rep NWBIG, or First Class NWBIG.

Please vote only if you know exactly what you're talking about and are very familiar with the potential flaws/issues of this watch.

If you know any (like the crown position), please just explain below why you think your vote is correct.

Ugly bold date font and wrong magnification , instant tell for me to be on the list ....
instead of that is a super rep , but they need to fix that font :(

I knew about the font, but not about wrong magnification.

Didn't they update it to a correct 2.5x?

Hi Omagad , thanks for setting this poll up, the question has been asked by a few folks here so that should help settle the topic ;)

Quick question: why is the 3rd choice "you shouldn't buy it"? To me this watch is neither super rep nor first class, given the datefont and the wrong crown position due to the a2824. However it is still a very good looking watch and the flaws that I mentioned should not prevent folks from buying and enjoying it, which if I recall is also something that you mention in your NWBIG consensual list right?

Left is the gen, right is the rep. The Rolexcrown is a tell as the font is.

I am far from being an expert so I haven’t voted in the poll. However in my eyes, the fact that the datewheel is so bold on some batches is a pretty big tell. I think some of them would qualify for these two classifications but many would be quite obvious to those who slightly understand watches (like me). Dw swap would help in this case and I don’t think many of the other flaws are as noticeable at least for an amateur like me.

Omagad : for the purpose of fairness, I don't think that the DJ41 should be considered a 1st class rep of the ARF Sea Dweller 2017 Baselworld 126600 was not excellent as they have the exact same issue

Most current ARF’s should be off the list becuase of the shit date wheel font. The cyclops on all ARF / Noob crystals cen be regognised in an instant as well - no halo.

Those factory pics sowing rep next to gen should also be ignored - they are retouched and misleading.

Can you provide evidence that the previous pictures are retouched/doctored?
