Hi rwi-friends,

I just sold my bp rolex dd36 after wearing it for a few months and got many compliments. Sold it because i want a datejust.
First i was thinking to get a 40/41 but in fact i really liked my 36. And i want a two tone with jubilee bracelet.

So i’ve been reading a lot for a few months. I’m thinking to buy the 116233 datejust SS/YG silver or white dial. Now i saw there are a few options.
ARF: wrong date but i can live with that. Plated and not wrapped, not sure it that is a dealbreaker for me.
GMF: saw video on trusty and looks really good. Price is higher but it is wrapped. Date wheel looks ok.
DJF: overall look and feel lower quality then arf. Datewheel is ok. Dial looks good.

Then there is also the possibility to say: fuck arf and their 41 size oyster bracelet on the 126333. Let go for the wrapped noob or the wrapped GMF.

So please, please, please, help me choose!

36mm gmf wrapped. I think it looks really good and i will actually order one these days.

The Noob wrapped dj's are good, but their fluted bezels look a bit like they were polished down heavily.

Partly for that reason i’m not sure about the arf and feel more for a wrapped watch

Do you have any photos showing that? I cant really spot any bare ss sides. As i im currently looking for a 126233, this would be a dealbreaker for me. Datewheel would have been swapped for a gen regardless, but a low quality jubilee wont fit in my collection...

the new ARF 41 DJ2 is awesome. Especially the dark rhodium dial. Check it out! They have the right dial color (compared to GMF)

There is no ARF two tone with jubilee bracelet for what i know.

Had contact with pure time, they say for 36 two tone ARF is the best and for 41 the noob. Both are out of stock with them at the moment.

Also had contact with trusty and they say BP and GMF are the best...

Haha really don’t know what to choose

2tone hmmm. I can share my experience. I have two watches.

no jubilee unfortunately. But believe me, this is the most amazing dj out There. Wrapped as well, also the sidelinks. A bit expensive but absolutely worth every penny. Add a date overlay and noone can tell its a rep.

this is also amazing. I love the RG color. Also wrapped!
Intime is one of my TDs. Theyre awesome! Only need date overlay as well and it is perfect!

Better, but man, that wrap looks sloppy. i really dont understand why they cant just electroplate all of the sides. I am going to guess its some kind of cost savings...or that the complexity of doing it does not matter to anyone.

Im not buying that wrapped one either. I am going to wait until someone figures out how to do it. Even Seiko messes it up:

I think i’ll go with the datejust 41 from noob if i can get my hands on one. If not then 36 from arf is the next one i try

Thanks a lot for the info! I want a jubilee so I guess the noob 41 is my best bet then. Do you have an in hand pic of yours? I won’t get the RG but YG. Any idea how the color compares to gen??
