4130-100 is the most difficult and expensive parts to source, extremely difficult to find it, and if, price are really expensive, rest movement parts are really easy to find.

Remember when we were building AP frankens though, we took our time sometimes taking years to complete the build with the correct parts. A movement build costing a few thousand should not be rushed and for me a gen main plate is a great foundation to expand on. This is not to say a build without it is poor or substandard it is still a commendable effort and takes a lot of dedication to complete.

Maybe the main plate is rare because YOU HAVE THEM ALL! Haha very nice, you've always lead the way with franken builds. Great dedication.

Big difference though between the AP franken and Daytona Franken builds:

1) A set of AP Gen hands was super rare and cost as much as a whole Noob sa3130 base watch
2) there was never a 3126 clone movement, and if there was it wouldn't really have mattered since the idea of throwing a shakey Chrono module onto a 2892 to begin with is a bad idea

You’re right, remember for my build have bought a gen millenary chrono, which used the same movement as first generation APROO, just to use the movement in my build, build those was a nightmare for parts, modding case, but at least those built are awesome.

Daytona quite more easy, little less work on, and parts, like hands are more affordable, and what’s good is the SH 4130, without going to a gen rebuild, you could improve it with many gen movement parts to make it more reliable, good for us noob made it, though many of us who were in AP section are now coming in Rolex one, just for the Daytona. It’s really an iconic watch.

The Gen Dial is not matching the Rep Roségold Color and also the Rep Hand.

The Rep Roségold is too copper from the Color. It doesn’t matter if AP, Rolex....too Copper.

In real live more visible as in my pictures.

So what we do:

- Stripping the base Watch (Domi)
- replating in correct Roségold
- Installation from Gen Hands, Dial and Glass (Domi)

Would be a nice Franken.

Yes normally I’m an AP Freak but so much requests from the Rolex side. Lol

But I think about to build an own Daytona Franken.
