Daytona just arrived back from Micasol. What a great guy and amazing watchmaker. Not only have I now got an amazing Daytona I also have gained a friend!!

Guys, does anyone know the difference between 4130 820 and the 4130 820-1? Well either fit?

Think that 820-1 is the last generation of wheels, tooth are not the same shape, less friction on it. Have installed some of those last wheels generation, really awesome.

You don’t need the parts labelled needed bro. The Noob ones are perfect. All the parts I used cover 100% of the essential movement parts and some.

I'd go for train, barrel and chrono bridge if you're going to replace all the gears for the train and chronograph. Why buy all these nice parts and use inferior parts to sit them in.
Hi Red, i appreciate your perspective! These additional parts really add additional cost, especially the train bridge. Do these make any 'real' difference to the reliability and accuracy of the movement timing etc?

In fact there is a slight difference between gen 4130 and SH 4130, size, SH is a little bit bigger not a lot but suffisant to avoid fit in gen parts, train wheels bridge is a good exemple, it could go but as it’s a little bit smaller than the SH I will not fit in perfectly, insetting of escape wheel will not be perfectly aligned and finally will have a lost of amplitude.
The same for barrel bridge, and chrono bridge, could fit but lost of reliability.
Or have to mod those gen parts to fit in SH, but a shame.

I didn't realise main plate wasn't on the list, if I was going to build a super franken movement gen main plate is the first item to source. Without the main plate I would not start the build. I would then prioritise escapement, going train and chronograph parts. I think you have done this already and it is the best way imo.
No main plate yet in this build, too expensive for now I think! I might buy one later for a future build though.
4130-100 is the most difficult and expensive parts to source, extremely difficult to find it, and if, price are really expensive, rest movement parts are really easy to find.
