Today i Present the Big Yachtmaster Review.
So first of all let me say that the Yachtmaster is one of the most Underestimated Rolex Watches in my Eyes.
There are many People they tell me that the Yachtmaster isn´t there style and that it looks like an Woman Watch.
I can tell these People that they are wrong.
The Yachtmaster has the charm of an SubC and the Classical Elegance from an GMT2c.
They combine both Worlds! Classic Sporty and Elegant.
But these are only my opinion all i can say is that the Rolex YM worth to try!

But now let us start with Yachtmasters Review...
My main focus is in this review, will be around the Actually Rolex Yachtmaster 6-digit versions.
I also made a comparison about the 5-digit models.
But about this I do not want to go into the detail now, because that would be too much confused.
I will only say a few words about the 5 digit models without many Pics.
I have Compare the Old GEN Yachtmasters with the Sean, TC and the Actually Noob Cases.
There are only two different GEN Yachtmaster Cases out!
The First Case was the old 5 Digit Yachtmaster that came out without Engraved Rehaut.
The Second Case came out at the Year 2009 - 2012 it was the old 5 Digit YM with the Engraved Rehaut.
If you look at the Cases a little closer, you will find that there are a few small differences.
The difference is that the first Case is a little bit tiny at the Lugs and at the Flank.
You can see the differences only, if you compare new pristine watches!
Sean and TC try to Emulate these old Yachtmaster Case.
The Second Case (2009-2012) got an little bit bigger Lugs and the Body Flank is also a little little Bit thicker.
And this Case is absolutely the same Case as the current 6-digit Models.
Why i think this would be different?
So i want Build all the Time an very nice Ultra Franken 5 Digit Yachtmaster for my own.
And after i had all the different Yachtmaster Watches at my Desk, i had think something is different between the
Sean/TC and the Noob in Comparison to the GEN 5 and 6 Digit.
I couldn´t say first what exactly it was, but after an intensive inspect i saw one of the Big Flaws!
That gives all these Sean and TC Builds an wrong feeling and look. SORRY to SAY!
It´s not that Bad as it Sounds!
But in my Eyes Noob did it right and made in the End the better Case of all other Manufacturers.
I will show these flaws afterwards in the pics, so that you get an idea.
Ok, now that we know that there are only two different GEN cases, we can start with our comparison.
I have use for the Comparison only the GEN 116622 Yachtmaster!
Because this is the latest Case and match to all new 6 Digit Yachtmasters and to the 5 Digit Yachtmasters from 2009-2012.
So let us begin with the i would say most wanted Yachtmasters, the 116622 Blue Dial.
One last word before we go on!
All Noob and JF Yachtmaster Main Cases are same!
There is absolutely no difference btw. the Steel and RoseGold Cases and there Housings!
That means! You can put the SA3135 into the A2824 Housing and otherwise.
Both Cases have absolut same Crown Height!
The Cases was Build in my Eyes for the SA3135 Movements, because the Case have exactly the Crown Height from the SA3135 Movement.
And the Case Inside can accept the SA3135 or GEN 3135 without any probs.
Some 2824 Watches i had in my Hands had some hard turning Crowns, this comes from the little different Crown Height.
And so there is more Force at the 2824 Stem.
So sometimes it´s an little Bit tricky to get an 2824 in the Cases, but it works
Ok so let´s start...
Noob vs JF:
At the First look we´ll see that the Noob have much nicer Insert Numbers, and that the Dial Color from the Noob is
much Lighter in the Color as the JF.
The Bezel self looks a little different, but the Insert Color is near the same. But we go later into all Details.
The Dial Color of the JF is much nicer in the Color they are both wrong in Comparison to the GEN but JF have an nice Color.
The Clasp of Noob have the nicer Crown Logo, but they are always different. I have checked it on many Clasps.
At the Sel Comparison they are both not that Bad, but it is massive Luck to get absolute Perfect SEL Fitments!
At an little closer look we can see that i had Luck at my First Noob Yachtmaster Model that i had
The SEL is not Bad.
But the JF Example that i had, had also nice SEL Fitments.
In my Eyes the Fitment at these JF Example was a little Bit better as on the Noob.
But as i already said! This is a little Bit lucky.
Ok so let us take a closer look to the Noob.
And a closer look to the JF
The Standard Lume is at both Watches the same, i think i don´t need much to say about the Standard Far East Lume
It´s ok, but it don´t shine so Bright as SuperLuminova and don´t last that long as SuperLuminova
So the Noob was a SA3135
And the JF a 2824
The absolut Strange thing for me are the new Chinese BV13 Movements! I found this Movements at many newer Watches.
These Movements Pop up in Watches that will sell as Asia2824 and also at ETA2824.
I have inspect them and i would say they are 100% SWISS ETA.
If it is not a SWISS ETA, then they have much improved it to the SWISS ETA direction.
All the Important Parts are absolut 1:1 as on the ETA Movements.
Maybe some TD can chime in here?
Let us go a little closer more into the detail!
Rehaut:
We can clearly see that Noob have use an Double Engrave on the Rehaut, same as the GEN Watches have till 2016.
Rolex changed the Rehaut Engrave End 2016 / Beginning 2017 to the Matrix Engrave Rehaut.
To Bad that our Far East Friends did some mistakes at the Rehaut again
So the biggest prob at the Noob Rehaut will be the R and O of the ROLEX Engrave.
The R of the Rehaut is much more visible as all other letters, i have search all the Time why this is so.
First I didn't find the answer, i had think the Machine has maybe use more Pressure at the R letter at the Engraving Process.
But NO this wasn´t the Answer! i found the Answer after a few hundred checkings under the Microscope hehe
If we look really exactly we´ll see that the R letter have more Free Space inside the Engraved Lines, this gives the R letter inside an Darker look and so it will be more visible.
All other letters you can see have mostly absolut no Space! The Engraved Lines touch each other and so there is no Dark Effect.
So the 2nd flaw is the O of the Engrave, the O they engrave to small so that the Rehaut looks like RoLEX.
The 3rd flaw is, they have use the same Typo as on the Noob SubC v6s! The Typo is Completely Round. It should have an Square Typo same as the Noob SubC v7 have.
And the 4th flaw in the round is, both Manufacturers Engraved at a wrong position!
Both, Noob and JF Engrave it a little too high.
So maybe they will fix it in the new Batch?!??
Here we see in Comparison the nice and Wonderful GEN Rehaut of the Yachtmaster.
The JF Rehaut Engraving is the Typical Matrix Engrave, this Fits normally to the Actually Rolex Yachtmaster Models from 2017.
Not so nice as the Noob Engrave, and at an intense look you´ll see that the X is an little Higher.
At this Example the X is near ok. It variate a little as i have seen.
And as already said before the position of the Engrave is wrong, it´s positioned too high.
Case Construction:
So here we see the Noob YM Case Disassembled.
We can Clearly see that the Retainer Ring is not an Fix Part of the Case.
It have much smoother and finer teeths as for example the GMT2c have.
This is why the Yachtmaster have a nice Click.
The Click of the Noob is near 1:1 compared to the GEN.
I can´t say 100% if the Construction is 100% same as the GEN is.
The Explosion Pics i saw of the Rolex Sheet showed it same as at the Noob Construction.
But at the Noob Watches the Insert is no Fixed Part of the Bezel.
You can Disassemble the Insert as all Rep Inserts, it´s only Glued in the Bezel.
At the GEN the Insert is an Fix Part of the Bezel, because Rolex have soldered the Platinum Insert into the Bezel.
So we see also the Click Spring and the Bezel.
At the JF we can see that the Retainer is an fix Part of the Case Construction.
This can´t be Removed! we can also see that the teeths of the Retainer are much rougher as on the Noob.
This is why the JF Bezel don´t have these fine Click Sound.
Because the Spring do not click at short distance.
The Retainer at the JF is only for the Crystal.
The rest is the same as on the Noob, but the Parts are not Compatible!
So you can´t mix up the Parts from Noob to JF or otherwise.
Only thing that can be changed will be the Insert and the Crystal.
Case Construction Inside:
So as i said at the beginning! There is no difference btw the Noob SA3135 YM Case and the Noob 2824 YM Case!
The Cases have absolut same Crown height and the inside is absolut identical!
But i think the Factories saw the trend that goes to the Rolex Clone Movement SA3135 and so they create it more for the SA3135 Movement.
But as we know the SA3135/GEN3135 have nearly the same Stem hight as an 2824 Movement this would be no big Deal.
But i want show you guys in some Pics that it Fit without probs.
So i have Removed the Noob 2824 Basel 2016 YM Inside and add the Noob SA3135 Blue Stuff.
Case Construction Inside (Movement cuttings):
We can see clearly, that at the Case inside! That the Cut Out for the GEN Movement install is missing at the Rep Cases.
The Far East Factories don´t cut these rounding because they use some cutted Movement Screws, with that the SA3135 Movement can build in easily.
But it´s not a GEN like Construction.
But it can be modified if someone want it GEN like, i have done this at the Franken Build

Case Horse hooves:
At this Point no one hit the Exact measurements of the GEN.
Noob is a little too Big and JF is too small.
But Noob is also there better, because the Shape of the Case End (Horse hoove) has the better Angle.
If you look right you´ll see that the Noob have an little Oblique outflow at the hoove.
The JF looks Flat, it have the same line as the Case Body have.
And this is totally wrong!
These Point you´ll also find at the Sean and TC Cases.
This gives the Case an worst look.
So if Noob had made the Horse hooves a little bit smaller it would be absolut Perfect.

Ok so let us start the Dial Comparison.
This is an most Important thing for the most of us
In the case of the dial, we can not say clearly that Noob or JF is better.
Because the dial color is always different depending on the light ratio, in direct comparison to the GEN.
I have unfortunately no direct 1:1 comparison between the Noob Dial and the GEN Dial.
I made this only with the JF Dial a while ago, and i don´t want to Disassemble the Franken for it again
So I made the comparisons in the built-in condition
In my eyes, the JF Dial is definitely the better Dial when it comes to the Blue Yachtmaster.
Because the Blue Color of the JF Dial is Darker and much better as that Light Color from the Noob Dial.
The Noob Dial has a Purple stitch, the JF Dial is Dark Blue and therefore it looks at most angles same as the GEN.
Both Dials, however, have a too strong Sunburst Effect.
The GEN Dial has almost no Sunburst Effect.
The same applies to the Basel 2016 Yachtmaster Dial!
I have Compare the Dial Colors Live at my Dealer but i couldn´t make Pics there I hope and think you understand that.
So the GEN Basel Dial have absolut the same Effect in the Colors as the GEN Blue Dials have.
And also the difference are same.
So the GEN Basel Dial is an Pure Light Gray.
In Comparison the Noob Dial is too Dark and the JF is also too Dark!
But the JF Dial is an little Bit Darker.
But the too Dark Effect becomes better as the Light Blue or Grey of the Noob.
Also the Print of the JF Dial is in my eyes much better and closer as the Noob.
ONLY! The Noob Rolesium Dial!
This Dial is in my opinion Absolutely the best and most perfect Dial in matters of Color and Print!
I didn´t compare these Dials, because I have already treated the Rolesium Dials in another thread.

This is the latest JF Dial that the TDs send out if you order an JF Dial. The Old JF Dial is not longer in Print. The Color of the Dial is the same, but the Print was a little Bit different.
Noob Case with Complete JF Inside (Old JF Dial)
Hands:
The hands are not bad! But Noob made there a big mistake in my eyes.
They did all Hands good, only the Second Hand have an too small Dot. And this at both Movement Types.
JF did it right there. All other Hands are not Bad as i said already. Sure they can´t Beat that nice shine as the GEN have but they are good.
Also the Red Color of the Second Hand isn´t Bad. Only annoying Part is the small Dot.
Noob must Correct that!

Insert:
Ok the GEN Insert is absolutely AMAZING!
Especially when it is New. The GEN Insert is Real and Pure Platinum.
We all know how Real Platinum look like?! When we compare the SubC or GMT2c Ceramic The Real Platinum Color is absolut Stunning.
The Special at the GEN Yachtmaster Insert is, that you will have mostly always the same Color in different Lights.
The Insert Shines always Bright as hell. The Rep Insert looks like an Bacon hehe. So the Finish of the Rep Inserts are not really good.
And this applies to all Rep Inserts! If Noob, JF, TC or Sean they all can´t beat the GEN real Platinum Insert.
But i think the Rep Insert can be modded to an more GEN look, so that it loose that Bacon look.
But ey! We can´t say that the Inserts are all Bad! If an GEN Platinum Insert is really old it loose also these Special shine.
Which happens when the insert gets scratched or new sand blasted. You see some inserts in the internet which look just like the rep inserts come.
But ok the Color and Shine is not all at the Inserts!
There are be also Numbers at the Insert, and at this i must say is Noob much much closer to the GEN as the JF.
The Noob Numbers are not Bad but not 100% same as the GEN.
If we check the Numbers under the Microscope we´ll see the difference.
The first difference of the Rep inserts is the cut of the numbers itself! Sure that Rolex works more precisely and that it looks like 100%
When we will zoom into the Rep Numbers, the numbers are more round than square
The Second Part will be that the Noob Numbers are an little to Fat! it´s not that much as at JF did but it´s visible.
JF Fail at the complete line at that Points. The Numbers are much much to Fat and they use an totally wrong Font.
At the Noob is the 1 of 10, 3 of 30 wrong if you look exactly, and also the 5 of 50 but these are really marginal things.
So in my eyes is Noob is the Winner at the Inserts in all lines. But there is space for Improvements!
So let us check the Stuff in Detail, first we check the Color differences and then the different Numbers.

Bezel:
The Bezel are ok but not Perfect. I Personally like the shape of the Noob more. Both have some Pro and Contra.
The overall look of the Noob Bezel is in my eyes better. But Noob didn´t make the shape of the Bezel 100% in the middle.
JF did this right! but the teeths are too big. At the Steel Yachtmaster both have use the right Brushed Lines.
So as i said both have Pro and Contra. So let the Pics speak

The Bezel Size is totally different at all the Rep Watches!
But at this Point i must say, JF is an little bit better at the Steel Yachtmaster Watches.
If we take a closer look, from the Bezel to Case dimension, we´ll see that the JF have an Harmonic Bezel crossing.
Not so at the Yachtmaster RoseGold Versions! But more about that later in the Review.
The Bezel self doesn´t goes over the Case End as at the JF YM RG, as it seems they have used different sizes of Bezels.
At the Comparison Measurements we can see that the Noob and JF Steel YM Bezels are totally different.
Noob has a dimension of 39,91mm, where JF is very close to the GEN Bezel with 39,99mm.
About the GEN we don´t need much to say i think the GEN Precision is unbeatable.
The GEN Size is exactley 40,00mm. But for the 20x of cost more we can expect this

Crown Guards:
The Crown Guards are also an Important Part at the Yachtmaster.
Because the Crown Guards are a very Present Part at the Watch, and if they are not in the right size the Complete Watch get an worse look.
In the Comparison we'll see that the Noob have the best an nearest Crown Guards next to the GEN.
But to get an good and even Crown Guard at the Noob Yachtmaster Rep. isn't easy!
The most Crown Guards are uneven.
So you need a little bit of Luck to get some Perfect.
But all in all the Noob have the right size of the Crown Guards, they are smaller as the JF, at the most Watches.
But they are a little Bit thicker as the GEN Crown Guards.
Also the Angle of the Crown Guards are much much better at Noob.
At the JF the Angle of the Crown Guard is totally strange.
The V shape between the Crown Guards is also better at the Noob Yachtmaster.
So at this point we can also say Noob made it.

Sel Fit:
The Sel Fit of the Yachtmaster Reps are also like an lottery!
The most Noob Yachtmaster Watches that I saw, or that I had in my hand, had flat Sel Fits.
And this isn't really nice. Sure at the Yachtmaster it isn't so visible as at the SubC for example.
But for the most of us it is an important point.
At my Noob Yachtmaster Franken Build I have figured out where the Probe is!
First I had think the Cases have wrong drilled holes, but it's not at this!
The Problem is at the Bracelet! I have swapped out the Bracelet and voila I had Perfect Sel Fitments.
You can see it at the Franken. I have test these Bracelet at 4 different Noob Yachtmaster Watches and at all I had Perfect Sel Fitments.
So it's definitely an Bracelet problem.
The JF Yachtmasters isn´t Bad too! Some Fits really nice some not, same as on the Noob.
I tried to make the JF bracelet at the Noob and vice versa. But that does not help because there is no difference.
It´s luck if you find a Bracelet with Perfect Sel Fit hights.
So the only way will be, to Hand pick a Perfect Noob or JF Bracelet.

Caseback:
The Caseback Engraved inside the Caseback isn´t so nice Engraved as at the GEN, but Noob is very close at that.
The JF Case back is Engraved not deep enough and looks a little worse. But for the most of us it´s only the Inside

The Clasp self is same as always at our Reps, they are not bad but also not 100% same as at the GEN.
So the Edges are too Hard and the Flip lock crown isn't always good. They variate also from watch to watch.
At my Franken Build I have also Hand pick it, from 4 Bracelets. Mostly the Crown hole self variate.
The Opening Angle of the Release at the Clasp is as always too hard and not good enough.
I wished that our Far East guys would change that in the Future but I don't think that this will happen.
So the Clasp will never get the GEN Feeling
All what they must do is give the Release Clasp a little better Angle, and soften the Bi Metal that the Opening Release getting more soft.
And give the whole Clasp some better roundings.

They look like the GEN, but the feeling is different. But all in all they are not Bad!

Conclusion:
Both Watches have some Pro and Contra, but in my Eyes the better and more Accurate Watch is the Noob Yachtmaster!
If it comes to the Standart Rep.
If you wanna update your Yachtmaster to get her closer to the GEN, then you need both Worlds!
I prefer the following combination:
Take the Complete Noob Yachtmaster and Remove the Inhousing Stuff (Dial, Hands)
Add the JF Inhouse Parts at the Noob, and there you go.
Maybe you check the JF Endlinks at the Noob Case, because i would say the JF Endlinks have an more GEN like feeling.
If you go SA3135 then i would add also an GEN Rolex DateWheel and maybe an GEN Crystal and you have an absolute nice Yachtmaster for less $$$

Noob vs JF Case:
Some Infos here! The Showed JF YM in the Case Comparison is an Mixed YM! I got it Borrowed from an Friend.
It´s an JF Case with an Noob Inside (Dial and Hands)
I had the GEN very often in my Hand, i hope that i can add the Pics of the GEN later, but can´t promise 100%
It´s not always that easy to get the GEN Borrowed i hope you understand this and trust my Experience that i have with these Watches
So i have take some Comparison Pics of the GEN from the Internet.
At the first look we don´t see much difference.
But if we look right, we´ll notice an Color different!
So i can´t show you the Color different next to the GEN, but i can tell you both Colors of the Reps are far away from the GEN!
So what does Rolex do?
Rolex created and patented an exclusive 18 ct pink gold alloy cast in its own foundry: It called Everose gold.
To make that Color Permanent they put 1-2 Drops Platinum into the Gold mix.
And thus the gold does not start to recolor.
So the GEN YM RG have an really light and Bright Color. It´s hard to explain, you must see it in Nature.
The Reps, on the other hand, have a copper color (Noob) or a brass color (JF).
The Main problem is that our Far East Guys, plate Steel Watches into Rose Gold Color.
And we all know from many other Brands already, that this never will hit the exactly same Color
Anyway... At this Point the Point goes to JF in my Eyes, because the JF looks more like Gold/Brass.
As the Noob that has an massic copper color.
GEN:
When we go to the Detail of the Crown Guards, you´ll see that there is no different to the Steel Yachtmaster Version!
The Winner at that will be the Noob YM.
Because the Crown Guards have near GEN Specs! But you must watch out at the Order if you are a little Nitpicker
Because the most Crown Guards are not equal.
All other differences are same as on the Steel Version (See at the Top)
At the JF YM we see an massive different at the Crown Guards and they are too small.
So JF must work on that if they wanna make us an nice RG YM.
The Compared RoseGold Yachtmasters are as i said an Noob SA3135 RG YM and an Mixed up JF RG YM Case with Noob 2824 Inside.
Now you People think, hey this can´t be Compared!
No worrie! For the Dial Details etc i had an Stock JF! But at this Time i didn´t had the Noob RG YM
So about the Case Construction it is also same as the Steel Version!
The SA3135 and 2824 have no differents, they are 1:1 the same Cases.
Noob use for the SA and the 2824 the same Case! The Crown Hight is absolut Identical. And this fit at all Noob Yachtmasters!
RG and all Steel Versions.
The Rehaut:
At the Noob Rehaut we have an little Improvement! Because the R and O of the ROLEX Engrave didn´t show up the Flaw as on the Steel Watch.
If we look a little closer under the Microscope we can see that the O has now same size as the rest of the letters.
The R has an little Bit more Space inside the Engraved letter same as on the Steel Yachtmaster, but it´s not visible!
I think this makes the RoseGold Color.
But the Engraving in Comparison to the GEN is wrong! Because the GEN YM RG has an Matrix Engraved Rehaut.
The Engraving of the Rehaut is unfortunately too big, JF is at that point better.
At the JF we have the same problem as on the Steel Yachtmaster!
The X of the ROLEX Engraves sits higher as all the other letters. So it seems like roleX.
JF used the Matrix Engraving at their Rehaut.
Which is normally correct, but unfortunately the Engraving of the letters is round again.
But at JF the size and height of the Rehaut is right.
Which is correct and which is wrong is hard to say! The fact is that both rehaut engravings are not 100% GEN like.
I must say that i like the Engrave of the Noob more than the JF, because the complete look is better.

The Bezel is same as on the Steel Yachtmaster Versions! Their shape is nearly the same... But this Time JF did an massive mistake!
The Noob Bezel is not 100% GEN like, but they look very good. The Important Point that gives the whole Watch an absolut nice look is the Polishing and the
Brushing of the Bezel! Especial at the Yachtmaster an wrong Brushed Bezel gives, or take her the complete look.
So what did do Noob right? The Yachtmaster Bezel is Completely Polished at the GEN only the inside of the Teeth are Brushed vertical.
Noob did it same as the GEN have. Also the teeth size is not Bad. The Bezel would become an little more GEN like look if the shape would be absolutely exactly in the middle.
But these difference is only marginal. (Same as Steel Version)
If we check the JF Bezel, we´ll see that JF have failed there Completely.
They Brushed the Bottom Part of the Bezel and Polished the upper Part. And the teeth Brushing isn´t really nice.
This give the Complete Watch an totally worse look.
Bezel Size:
Now we comes to the Main Point, what has gives me to think a while at all the Cases.
The Bezel Size is totally different at all the Rep Watches as we know now from the Steel Yachtmasters!
But at this Point i must say Noob did it right again and at the Noob RG YM the result is absolutely Amazing.
If we take a closer look, from the Bezel to Case dimension, we´ll see that the Noob have an Harmonic Bezel crossing.
The Bezel self doesn´t goes over the Case End. If we look at the JF we can clearly see that the Bezel goes over the Case End.
And this gives the Watch an look like an Fat Lady.
Sure you can so better grab the Bezel, but it is wrong! And this big mistake did also do Sean and TC.
Now you could say ha the old Case had these look that the Bezel goes over the Case end. No it´s not True!
I have Compare many many Untouched old Yachtmasters and the Build of the Bezel didn´t change over all the Years.
So if we Compare the Noob RG YM shape at the Bezel and the GEN we´ll see it´s absolut nice.
If Noob would get there Steel Bezel to the same look as on the RoseGold this would be an Dream!
Ceramic Insert:
The Insert is same at both Yachtmaster RoseGold Rep Watches! Noob use the same Insert as JF or vise versa.
This Time the Numbers are cutted a little little Bit better, but it´s absolut the same Font as they have use at their Rep Steel Yachtmaster Inserts.
We can use for the Compare the Numbers from the GEN Steel Yachtmaster, because the Numbers at the GEN Watches are 100% the same.
The only different will be, that Rolex use at the GEN RoseGold Yachtmaster an Cerachrom Insert.
This Insert is the same Material as they use at their other Ceramic line (SubC, GMT2c etc.)
But they hold the old Yachtmaster Style (look) with it! Because they Sandblast the Cerachrom and Polishing then the Numbers.
The absolutely Amazing thing at the GEN Insert is these Fantastic 3D Effect.
The same did our Far East Friends doing!
All in all the rep Ceramic looks better because it´s all Black and so the little Flaws are not that visible
Also the 3D Effect is not Bad.
But as i said already, the Numbers are here also wrong.
Dial:
Between the Noob and JF Dial is not much different! As it seems they came both from the same Factory.
Because the Print and Texture of the Dial is absolut identical.
In Comparison to the GEN Dial the Rep Texture is a little Bit rougher. The Print of the Dial isn´t Bad, only the Color is an little different.
The GEN Dial Print of the Crown and ROLEX Text is more Gold. The YACHT MASTER Text of the GEN is more Dark Red and the Font is an little different.
But all in all both Rep Dials are not that Bad.
The DayLight Lume Color is too white, but this can be fixed with an Relume. After the Relume the Dial have these Warmer look same as the GEN have.

Hands:
The Hands of the Noob and JF are the same ones. They are not Bad for Rep Hands, but they are Far away for me from the GEN
Because special the GEN RoseGold Hands have a really Special Presence and shiny Gloss.
The good Part is that they use at the RoseGold Yachtmasters the right Second Hand!
Because the Second Hand at the Yachtmaster Steel Watches is wrong. Only the Dot in the Second Hand is wrong... Not at the RG !
Case Horse hooves:
At this Point no one hit the Exact measurements of the GEN.
Noob is a little too Big and JF is too small.
But Noob is also there better, because the Shape of the Case End (Horse hoove) has the better Angle.
If you look right you´ll see that the Noob have an little Oblique outflow at the hoove.
The JF looks Flat, it have the same line as the Case Body have.
And this is totally wrong!
These Point you´ll also find at the Sean and TC Cases.
This gives the Case an worst look.
So if Noob had made the Horse hooves a little bit smaller it would be absolut Perfect.
Caseback side Engrave:
The Caseback Engraves are a little bit better at the Noob, because they use the right Font at the 750 and they Emulate more an Stamp as an Engrave.
But both Watches are far away from the Real Deal. The Stamped Crown at the Noob is a little too small. The Dog is not really sharp and there should
be an G inside for but the Stamp looks more like an O
The Scale with the 750 is also not really sharp but all in all Noob did there Homework and have try to get all the Engravings right
The JF Engraves looks like totally Fantasy! The 750 is wrong Font, the Dog looks like an Cartoon and the Scale? Yeah look self...

So about the Caseback Inside Engrave i can´t say it which one is right and which one is wrong!
All i can say is that Noob have here also the deeper Engrave and for me it looks like they use the right Logos. But as i said, i can´t Guarantee!
I didn´t see the GEN from the Inside till now.
The Engraved of JF is more clear but it´s not that deep as on the Noob.
So my Experience with Rolex Gold or White Gold Model was that Gold is an soft Metal and that Rolex has always Stamp it.
They don´t Engrave it because you would shape off Gold. And so i would say Noob Emulate it here also right again.

There is NO Bracelet so we don´t need to Compare.
Clasp:
The Clasp is absolut same as at the Steel Yachtmaster Versions, so i didn´t waste the Time with that
The only different is the Color and this is same different as the Case itself plus the Engravings inside the Blade
Rubber Strap:
The Rubber Strap is at the Noob a little Bit better, but they are both not same as the GEN!
The GEN is more softer, plus the OYSTERFLEX Engrave at the side is more Filegran.
Some TDs offer now some new Rubber Straps extra that have also the metallic Part inside the Rubber same as the GEN.
I can´t say much about it, because i didn´t had it at my Desk. So in my eyes there is no need to worry about the Rubber Strap!
One big Plus have the Rep Strap. The Outside Texture doesn´t Scratch so easy as the GEN Strap.
If you wear the GEN Strap for a while it looks like a Piece of Crap.
This is no Joke! The Texture of the GEN Strap is so soft that you can scratch them with your Finger Nails.
So i would say that´s it with the Yachtmaster RoseGold
Conclusion:
Both Watches have some Pro and Contra, but in my Eyes the better and more Accurate Watch is the Noob Yachtmaster!
If it comes to the Standart Rep.
If you wanna update your Yachtmaster to get her closer to the GEN, then
I prefer the following combination:
Noob Yachtmaster RoseGold with SA3135 Movement, add there an GEN Rolex DateWheel and an GEN Rolex Crystal.
And there you go...
More you can´t change at the RoseGold Yachtmaster.

Today i Present the Big Yachtmaster Review.
So first of all let me say that the Yachtmaster is one of the most Underestimated Rolex Watches in my Eyes.
There are many People they tell me that the Yachtmaster isn´t there style and that it looks like an Woman Watch.
I can tell these People that they are wrong.
The Yachtmaster has the charm of an SubC and the Classical Elegance from an GMT2c.
They combine both Worlds! Classic Sporty and Elegant.
But these are only my opinion
all i can say is that the Rolex YM worth to try!Ok Guys...

But now let us start with Yachtmasters Review...
My main focus is in this review, will be around the Actually Rolex Yachtmaster 6-digit versions.
I also made a comparison about the 5-digit models.
But about this I do not want to go into the detail now, because that would be too much confused.
I will only say a few words about the 5 digit models without many Pics.
I have Compare the Old GEN Yachtmasters with the Sean, TC and the Actually Noob Cases.
There are only two different GEN Yachtmaster Cases out!
The First Case was the old 5 Digit Yachtmaster that came out without Engraved Rehaut.
The Second Case came out at the Year 2009 - 2012 it was the old 5 Digit YM with the Engraved Rehaut.
If you look at the Cases a little closer, you will find that there are a few small differences.
The difference is that the first Case is a little bit tiny at the Lugs and at the Flank.
You can see the differences only, if you compare new pristine watches!
Sean and TC try to Emulate these old Yachtmaster Case.
The Second Case (2009-2012) got an little bit bigger Lugs and the Body Flank is also a little little Bit thicker.
And this Case is absolutely the same Case as the current 6-digit Models.
Why i think this would be different?
So i want Build all the Time an very nice Ultra Franken 5 Digit Yachtmaster for my own.
And after i had all the different Yachtmaster Watches at my Desk, i had think something is different between the
Sean/TC and the Noob in Comparison to the GEN 5 and 6 Digit.
I couldn´t say first what exactly it was, but after an intensive inspect i saw one of the Big Flaws!
That gives all these Sean and TC Builds an wrong feeling and look. SORRY to SAY!
It´s not that Bad as it Sounds!
But in my Eyes Noob did it right and made in the End the better Case of all other Manufacturers.
I will show these flaws afterwards in the pics, so that you get an idea.
Ok, now that we know that there are only two different GEN cases, we can start with our comparison.
I have use for the Comparison only the GEN 116622 Yachtmaster!
Because this is the latest Case and match to all new 6 Digit Yachtmasters and to the 5 Digit Yachtmasters from 2009-2012.
So let us begin with the i would say most wanted Yachtmasters, the 116622 Blue Dial.
One last word before we go on!
All Noob and JF Yachtmaster Main Cases are same!
There is absolutely no difference btw. the Steel and RoseGold Cases and there Housings!
That means! You can put the SA3135 into the A2824 Housing and otherwise.
Both Cases have absolut same Crown Height!
The Cases was Build in my Eyes for the SA3135 Movements, because the Case have exactly the Crown Height from the SA3135 Movement.
And the Case Inside can accept the SA3135 or GEN 3135 without any probs.
Some 2824 Watches i had in my Hands had some hard turning Crowns, this comes from the little different Crown Height.
And so there is more Force at the 2824 Stem.
So sometimes it´s an little Bit tricky to get an 2824 in the Cases, but it works
Ok so let´s start...
Noob vs JF:
At the First look we´ll see that the Noob have much nicer Insert Numbers, and that the Dial Color from the Noob is
much Lighter in the Color as the JF.
The Bezel self looks a little different, but the Insert Color is near the same. But we go later into all Details.
The Dial Color of the JF is much nicer in the Color
they are both wrong in Comparison to the GEN but JF have an nice Color.
The Clasp of Noob have the nicer Crown Logo, but they are always different. I have checked it on many Clasps.
At the Sel Comparison they are both not that Bad, but it is massive Luck to get absolute Perfect SEL Fitments!
At an little closer look we can see that i had Luck at my First Noob Yachtmaster Model that i had
The SEL is not Bad.
But the JF Example that i had, had also nice SEL Fitments.
In my Eyes the Fitment at these JF Example was a little Bit better as on the Noob.
But as i already said! This is a little Bit lucky.
Ok so let us take a closer look to the Noob.
And a closer look to the JF
The Standard Lume is at both Watches the same, i think i don´t need much to say about the Standard Far East Lume
It´s ok, but it don´t shine so Bright as SuperLuminova and don´t last that long as SuperLuminova
So the Noob was a SA3135
And the JF a 2824
The absolut Strange thing for me are the new Chinese BV13 Movements! I found this Movements at many newer Watches.
These Movements Pop up in Watches that will sell as Asia2824 and also at ETA2824.
I have inspect them and i would say they are 100% SWISS ETA.
If it is not a SWISS ETA, then they have much improved it to the SWISS ETA direction.
All the Important Parts are absolut 1:1 as on the ETA Movements.
Maybe some TD can chime in here?
Let us go a little closer more into the detail!
Rehaut:
We can clearly see that Noob have use an Double Engrave on the Rehaut, same as the GEN Watches have till 2016.
Rolex changed the Rehaut Engrave End 2016 / Beginning 2017 to the Matrix Engrave Rehaut.
To Bad that our Far East Friends did some mistakes at the Rehaut again
So the biggest prob at the Noob Rehaut will be the R and O of the ROLEX Engrave.
The R of the Rehaut is much more visible as all other letters, i have search all the Time why this is so.
First I didn't find the answer, i had think the Machine has maybe use more Pressure at the R letter at the Engraving Process.
But NO this wasn´t the Answer! i found the Answer after a few hundred checkings under the Microscope
heheIf we look really exactly we´ll see that the R letter have more Free Space inside the Engraved Lines, this gives the R letter inside an Darker look and so it will be more visible.
All other letters you can see have mostly absolut no Space! The Engraved Lines touch each other and so there is no Dark Effect.
So the 2nd flaw is the O of the Engrave, the O they engrave to small so that the Rehaut looks like RoLEX.
The 3rd flaw is, they have use the same Typo as on the Noob SubC v6s! The Typo is Completely Round. It should have an Square Typo same as the Noob SubC v7 have.
And the 4th flaw in the round is, both Manufacturers Engraved at a wrong position!
Both, Noob and JF Engrave it a little too high.
So maybe they will fix it in the new Batch?!??
Here we see in Comparison the nice and Wonderful GEN Rehaut of the Yachtmaster.
The JF Rehaut Engraving is the Typical Matrix Engrave, this Fits normally to the Actually Rolex Yachtmaster Models from 2017.
Not so nice as the Noob Engrave, and at an intense look you´ll see that the X is an little Higher.
At this Example the X is near ok. It variate a little as i have seen.
And as already said before the position of the Engrave is wrong, it´s positioned too high.
Case Construction:
So here we see the Noob YM Case Disassembled.
We can Clearly see that the Retainer Ring is not an Fix Part of the Case.
It have much smoother and finer teeths as for example the GMT2c have.
This is why the Yachtmaster have a nice Click.
The Click of the Noob is near 1:1 compared to the GEN.
I can´t say 100% if the Construction is 100% same as the GEN is.
The Explosion Pics i saw of the Rolex Sheet showed it same as at the Noob Construction.
But at the Noob Watches the Insert is no Fixed Part of the Bezel.
You can Disassemble the Insert as all Rep Inserts, it´s only Glued in the Bezel.
At the GEN the Insert is an Fix Part of the Bezel, because Rolex have soldered the Platinum Insert into the Bezel.
So we see also the Click Spring and the Bezel.
At the JF we can see that the Retainer is an fix Part of the Case Construction.
This can´t be Removed! we can also see that the teeths of the Retainer are much rougher as on the Noob.
This is why the JF Bezel don´t have these fine Click Sound.
Because the Spring do not click at short distance.
The Retainer at the JF is only for the Crystal.
The rest is the same as on the Noob, but the Parts are not Compatible!
So you can´t mix up the Parts from Noob to JF or otherwise.
Only thing that can be changed will be the Insert and the Crystal.
Case Construction Inside:
So as i said at the beginning! There is no difference btw the Noob SA3135 YM Case and the Noob 2824 YM Case!
The Cases have absolut same Crown height and the inside is absolut identical!
But i think the Factories saw the trend that goes to the Rolex Clone Movement SA3135 and so they create it more for the SA3135 Movement.
But as we know the SA3135/GEN3135 have nearly the same Stem hight as an 2824 Movement this would be no big Deal.
But i want show you guys in some Pics that it Fit without probs.
So i have Removed the Noob 2824 Basel 2016 YM Inside and add the Noob SA3135 Blue Stuff.
Case Construction Inside (Movement cuttings):
We can see clearly, that at the Case inside! That the Cut Out for the GEN Movement install is missing at the Rep Cases.
The Far East Factories don´t cut these rounding because they use some cutted Movement Screws, with that the SA3135 Movement can build in easily.
But it´s not a GEN like Construction.
But it can be modified if someone want it GEN like, i have done this at the Franken Build

Ok so let us start the Dial Comparison.
This is an most Important thing for the most of us
In the case of the dial, we can not say clearly that Noob or JF is better.
Because the dial color is always different depending on the light ratio, in direct comparison to the GEN.
I have unfortunately no direct 1:1 comparison between the Noob Dial and the GEN Dial.
I made this only with the JF Dial a while ago, and i don´t want to Disassemble the Franken for it again
So I made the comparisons in the built-in condition
In my eyes, the JF Dial is definitely the better Dial when it comes to the Blue Yachtmaster.
Because the Blue Color of the JF Dial is Darker and much better as that Light Color from the Noob Dial.
The Noob Dial has a Purple stitch, the JF Dial is Dark Blue and therefore it looks at most angles same as the GEN.
Both Dials, however, have a too strong Sunburst Effect.
The GEN Dial has almost no Sunburst Effect.
The same applies to the Basel 2016 Yachtmaster Dial!
I have Compare the Dial Colors Live at my Dealer but i couldn´t make Pics there
I hope and think you understand that. So the GEN Basel Dial have absolut the same Effect in the Colors as the GEN Blue Dials have.
And also the difference are same.
So the GEN Basel Dial is an Pure Light Gray.
In Comparison the Noob Dial is too Dark and the JF is also too Dark!
But the JF Dial is an little Bit Darker.
But the too Dark Effect becomes better as the Light Blue or Grey of the Noob.
Also the Print of the JF Dial is in my eyes much better and closer as the Noob.
ONLY! The Noob Rolesium Dial!
This Dial is in my opinion Absolutely the best and most perfect Dial in matters of Color and Print!
I didn´t compare these Dials, because I have already treated the Rolesium Dials in another thread.

This is the latest JF Dial that the TDs send out if you order an JF Dial. The Old JF Dial is not longer in Print. The Color of the Dial is the same, but the Print was a little Bit different.
Noob Case with Complete JF Inside (Old JF Dial)
Hands:
The hands are not bad! But Noob made there a big mistake in my eyes.
They did all Hands good, only the Second Hand have an too small Dot. And this at both Movement Types.
JF did it right there. All other Hands are not Bad as i said already. Sure they can´t Beat that nice shine as the GEN have but they are good.
Also the Red Color of the Second Hand isn´t Bad. Only annoying Part is the small Dot.
Noob must Correct that!

Insert:
Ok the GEN Insert is absolutely AMAZING!
Especially when it is New. The GEN Insert is Real and Pure Platinum.
We all know how Real Platinum look like?! When we compare the SubC or GMT2c Ceramic
The Real Platinum Color is absolut Stunning.The Special at the GEN Yachtmaster Insert is, that you will have mostly always the same Color in different Lights.
The Insert Shines always Bright as hell. The Rep Insert looks like an Bacon
hehe. So the Finish of the Rep Inserts are not really good.And this applies to all Rep Inserts! If Noob, JF, TC or Sean they all can´t beat the GEN real Platinum Insert.
But i think the Rep Insert can be modded to an more GEN look, so that it loose that Bacon look.
But ey! We can´t say that the Inserts are all Bad! If an GEN Platinum Insert is really old it loose also these Special shine.
Which happens when the insert gets scratched or new sand blasted. You see some inserts in the internet which look just like the rep inserts come.
But ok the Color and Shine is not all at the Inserts!
There are be also Numbers at the Insert, and at this i must say is Noob much much closer to the GEN as the JF.
The Noob Numbers are not Bad but not 100% same as the GEN.
If we check the Numbers under the Microscope we´ll see the difference.
The first difference of the Rep inserts is the cut of the numbers itself! Sure that Rolex works more precisely and that it looks like 100%
When we will zoom into the Rep Numbers, the numbers are more round than square
The Second Part will be that the Noob Numbers are an little to Fat! it´s not that much as at JF did but it´s visible.
JF Fail at the complete line at that Points. The Numbers are much much to Fat and they use an totally wrong Font.
At the Noob is the 1 of 10, 3 of 30 wrong if you look exactly, and also the 5 of 50 but these are really marginal things.
So in my eyes is Noob is the Winner at the Inserts in all lines. But there is space for Improvements!
So let us check the Stuff in Detail, first we check the Color differences and then the different Numbers.

The Bezel are ok but not Perfect. I Personally like the shape of the Noob more. Both have some Pro and Contra.
The overall look of the Noob Bezel is in my eyes better. But Noob didn´t make the shape of the Bezel 100% in the middle.
JF did this right! but the teeths are too big. At the Steel Yachtmaster both have use the right Brushed Lines.
So as i said both have Pro and Contra. So let the Pics speak

The Bezel Size is totally different at all the Rep Watches!
But at this Point i must say, JF is an little bit better at the Steel Yachtmaster Watches.

About the GEN we don´t need much to say i think
the GEN Precision is unbeatable.The GEN Size is exactley 40,00mm. But for the 20x of cost more we can expect this

Crown Guards:
The Crown Guards are also an Important Part at the Yachtmaster.
Because the Crown Guards are a very Present Part at the Watch, and if they are not in the right size the Complete Watch get an worse look.
In the Comparison we'll see that the Noob have the best an nearest Crown Guards next to the GEN.
But to get an good and even Crown Guard at the Noob Yachtmaster Rep. isn't easy!
The most Crown Guards are uneven.
So you need a little bit of Luck to get some Perfect.
But all in all the Noob have the right size of the Crown Guards, they are smaller as the JF, at the most Watches.
But they are a little Bit thicker as the GEN Crown Guards.
Also the Angle of the Crown Guards are much much better at Noob.
At the JF the Angle of the Crown Guard is totally strange.
The V shape between the Crown Guards is also better at the Noob Yachtmaster.
So at this point we can also say Noob made it.

Sel Fit:
The Sel Fit of the Yachtmaster Reps are also like an lottery!
The most Noob Yachtmaster Watches that I saw, or that I had in my hand, had flat Sel Fits.
And this isn't really nice. Sure at the Yachtmaster it isn't so visible as at the SubC for example.
But for the most of us it is an important point.
At my Noob Yachtmaster Franken Build I have figured out where the Probe is!
First I had think the Cases have wrong drilled holes, but it's not at this!
The Problem is at the Bracelet! I have swapped out the Bracelet and voila I had Perfect Sel Fitments.
You can see it at the Franken. I have test these Bracelet at 4 different Noob Yachtmaster Watches and at all I had Perfect Sel Fitments.
So it's definitely an Bracelet problem.
The JF Yachtmasters isn´t Bad too! Some Fits really nice some not, same as on the Noob.
I tried to make the JF bracelet at the Noob and vice versa. But that does not help because there is no difference.
It´s luck if you find a Bracelet with Perfect Sel Fit hights.
So the only way will be, to Hand pick a Perfect Noob or JF Bracelet.

Caseback:
The Caseback Engraved inside the Caseback isn´t so nice Engraved as at the GEN, but Noob is very close at that.
The JF Case back is Engraved not deep enough and looks a little worse. But for the most of us it´s only the Inside

Clasp:
The Clasp self is same as always at our Reps, they are not bad but also not 100% same as at the GEN.
So the Edges are too Hard and the Flip lock crown isn't always good. They variate also from watch to watch.
At my Franken Build I have also Hand pick it, from 4 Bracelets. Mostly the Crown hole self variate.
The Opening Angle of the Release at the Clasp is as always too hard and not good enough.
I wished that our Far East guys would change that in the Future but I don't think that this will happen.
So the Clasp will never get the GEN Feeling
All what they must do is give the Release Clasp a little better Angle, and soften the Bi Metal that the Opening Release getting more soft.
And give the whole Clasp some better roundings.

Conclusion:
Both Watches have some Pro and Contra, but in my Eyes the better and more Accurate Watch is the Noob Yachtmaster!
If it comes to the Standart Rep.
If you wanna update your Yachtmaster to get her closer to the GEN, then you need both Worlds!
I prefer the following combination:
Take the Complete Noob Yachtmaster and Remove the Inhousing Stuff (Dial, Hands)
Add the JF Inhouse Parts at the Noob, and there you go.
Maybe you check the JF Endlinks at the Noob Case, because i would say the JF Endlinks have an more GEN like feeling.
If you go SA3135 then i would add also an GEN Rolex DateWheel and maybe an GEN Crystal and you have an absolute nice Yachtmaster for less $$$

Noob vs JF Case:
Some Infos here! The Showed JF YM in the Case Comparison is an Mixed YM! I got it Borrowed from an Friend.
It´s an JF Case with an Noob Inside (Dial and Hands)
I had the GEN very often in my Hand, i hope that i can add the Pics of the GEN later, but can´t promise 100%
It´s not always that easy to get the GEN Borrowed
i hope you understand this and trust my Experience that i have with these Watches So i have take some Comparison Pics of the GEN from the Internet.
At the first look we don´t see much difference.
But if we look right, we´ll notice an Color different!
So i can´t show you the Color different next to the GEN, but i can tell you both Colors of the Reps are far away from the GEN!
So what does Rolex do?
Rolex created and patented an exclusive 18 ct pink gold alloy cast in its own foundry: It called Everose gold.
To make that Color Permanent they put 1-2 Drops Platinum into the Gold mix.
And thus the gold does not start to recolor.
So the GEN YM RG have an really light and Bright Color. It´s hard to explain, you must see it in Nature.
The Reps, on the other hand, have a copper color (Noob) or a brass color (JF).
The Main problem is that our Far East Guys, plate Steel Watches into Rose Gold Color.
And we all know from many other Brands already, that this never will hit the exactly same Color
Anyway... At this Point the Point goes to JF in my Eyes, because the JF looks more like Gold/Brass.
As the Noob that has an massic copper color.
GEN:
When we go to the Detail of the Crown Guards, you´ll see that there is no different to the Steel Yachtmaster Version!
The Winner at that will be the Noob YM.
Because the Crown Guards have near GEN Specs! But you must watch out at the Order if you are a little Nitpicker
Because the most Crown Guards are not equal.
All other differences are same as on the Steel Version (See at the Top)
At the JF YM we see an massive different at the Crown Guards and they are too small.
So JF must work on that if they wanna make us an nice RG YM.
The Compared RoseGold Yachtmasters are as i said an Noob SA3135 RG YM and an Mixed up JF RG YM Case with Noob 2824 Inside.
Now you People think, hey this can´t be Compared!
No worrie! For the Dial Details etc i had an Stock JF! But at this Time i didn´t had the Noob RG YM
So about the Case Construction it is also same as the Steel Version!
The SA3135 and 2824 have no differents, they are 1:1 the same Cases.
Noob use for the SA and the 2824 the same Case! The Crown Hight is absolut Identical. And this fit at all Noob Yachtmasters!
RG and all Steel Versions.
The Rehaut:
At the Noob Rehaut we have an little Improvement! Because the R and O of the ROLEX Engrave didn´t show up the Flaw as on the Steel Watch.
If we look a little closer under the Microscope we can see that the O has now same size as the rest of the letters.
The R has an little Bit more Space inside the Engraved letter same as on the Steel Yachtmaster, but it´s not visible!
I think this makes the RoseGold Color.
But the Engraving in Comparison to the GEN is wrong! Because the GEN YM RG has an Matrix Engraved Rehaut.
The Engraving of the Rehaut is unfortunately too big, JF is at that point better.
At the JF we have the same problem as on the Steel Yachtmaster!
The X of the ROLEX Engraves sits higher as all the other letters. So it seems like roleX.
JF used the Matrix Engraving at their Rehaut.
Which is normally correct, but unfortunately the Engraving of the letters is round again.
But at JF the size and height of the Rehaut is right.
Which is correct and which is wrong is hard to say! The fact is that both rehaut engravings are not 100% GEN like.
I must say that i like the Engrave of the Noob more than the JF, because the complete look is better.

Bezel:
The Bezel is same as on the Steel Yachtmaster Versions! Their shape is nearly the same... But this Time JF did an massive mistake!
The Noob Bezel is not 100% GEN like, but they look very good. The Important Point that gives the whole Watch an absolut nice look is the Polishing and the
Brushing of the Bezel! Especial at the Yachtmaster an wrong Brushed Bezel gives, or take her the complete look.
So what did do Noob right? The Yachtmaster Bezel is Completely Polished at the GEN only the inside of the Teeth are Brushed vertical.
Noob did it same as the GEN have. Also the teeth size is not Bad. The Bezel would become an little more GEN like look if the shape would be absolutely exactly in the middle.
But these difference is only marginal. (Same as Steel Version)
If we check the JF Bezel, we´ll see that JF have failed there Completely.
They Brushed the Bottom Part of the Bezel and Polished the upper Part. And the teeth Brushing isn´t really nice.
This give the Complete Watch an totally worse look.
Bezel Size:
Now we comes to the Main Point, what has gives me to think a while at all the Cases.
The Bezel Size is totally different at all the Rep Watches as we know now from the Steel Yachtmasters!
But at this Point i must say Noob did it right again and at the Noob RG YM the result is absolutely Amazing.
If we take a closer look, from the Bezel to Case dimension, we´ll see that the Noob have an Harmonic Bezel crossing.
The Bezel self doesn´t goes over the Case End. If we look at the JF we can clearly see that the Bezel goes over the Case End.
And this gives the Watch an look like an Fat Lady.
Sure you can so better grab the Bezel, but it is wrong! And this big mistake did also do Sean and TC.
Now you could say ha the old Case had these look that the Bezel goes over the Case end. No it´s not True!
I have Compare many many Untouched old Yachtmasters and the Build of the Bezel didn´t change over all the Years.
So if we Compare the Noob RG YM shape at the Bezel and the GEN we´ll see it´s absolut nice.
If Noob would get there Steel Bezel to the same look as on the RoseGold this would be an Dream!
Ceramic Insert:
The Insert is same at both Yachtmaster RoseGold Rep Watches! Noob use the same Insert as JF or vise versa.
This Time the Numbers are cutted a little little Bit better, but it´s absolut the same Font as they have use at their Rep Steel Yachtmaster Inserts.
We can use for the Compare the Numbers from the GEN Steel Yachtmaster, because the Numbers at the GEN Watches are 100% the same.
The only different will be, that Rolex use at the GEN RoseGold Yachtmaster an Cerachrom Insert.
This Insert is the same Material as they use at their other Ceramic line (SubC, GMT2c etc.)
But they hold the old Yachtmaster Style (look) with it! Because they Sandblast the Cerachrom and Polishing then the Numbers.
The absolutely Amazing thing at the GEN Insert is these Fantastic 3D Effect.
The same did our Far East Friends doing!
All in all the rep Ceramic looks better because it´s all Black and so the little Flaws are not that visible
Also the 3D Effect is not Bad.
But as i said already, the Numbers are here also wrong.
Dial:
Between the Noob and JF Dial is not much different! As it seems they came both from the same Factory.
Because the Print and Texture of the Dial is absolut identical.
In Comparison to the GEN Dial the Rep Texture is a little Bit rougher. The Print of the Dial isn´t Bad, only the Color is an little different.
The GEN Dial Print of the Crown and ROLEX Text is more Gold. The YACHT MASTER Text of the GEN is more Dark Red and the Font is an little different.
But all in all both Rep Dials are not that Bad.
The DayLight Lume Color is too white, but this can be fixed with an Relume. After the Relume the Dial have these Warmer look same as the GEN have.

Hands:
The Hands of the Noob and JF are the same ones. They are not Bad for Rep Hands, but they are Far away for me from the GEN
Because special the GEN RoseGold Hands have a really Special Presence and shiny Gloss.
The good Part is that they use at the RoseGold Yachtmasters the right Second Hand!
Because the Second Hand at the Yachtmaster Steel Watches is wrong. Only the Dot in the Second Hand is wrong... Not at the RG !
Case Horse hooves:
At this Point no one hit the Exact measurements of the GEN.
Noob is a little too Big and JF is too small.
But Noob is also there better, because the Shape of the Case End (Horse hoove) has the better Angle.
If you look right you´ll see that the Noob have an little Oblique outflow at the hoove.
The JF looks Flat, it have the same line as the Case Body have.
And this is totally wrong!
These Point you´ll also find at the Sean and TC Cases.
This gives the Case an worst look.
So if Noob had made the Horse hooves a little bit smaller it would be absolut Perfect.
Caseback side Engrave:
The Caseback Engraves are a little bit better at the Noob, because they use the right Font at the 750 and they Emulate more an Stamp as an Engrave.
But both Watches are far away from the Real Deal. The Stamped Crown at the Noob is a little too small. The Dog is not really sharp and there should
be an G inside for but the Stamp looks more like an O
The Scale with the 750 is also not really sharp but all in all Noob did there Homework and have try to get all the Engravings right
The JF Engraves looks like totally Fantasy! The 750 is wrong Font, the Dog looks like an Cartoon and the Scale? Yeah look self...

So about the Caseback Inside Engrave i can´t say it which one is right and which one is wrong!
All i can say is that Noob have here also the deeper Engrave and for me it looks like they use the right Logos. But as i said, i can´t Guarantee!
I didn´t see the GEN from the Inside till now.
The Engraved of JF is more clear but it´s not that deep as on the Noob.
So my Experience with Rolex Gold or White Gold Model was that Gold is an soft Metal and that Rolex has always Stamp it.
They don´t Engrave it because you would shape off Gold. And so i would say Noob Emulate it here also right again.

There is NO Bracelet

The Clasp is absolut same as at the Steel Yachtmaster Versions, so i didn´t waste the Time with that
The only different is the Color and this is same different as the Case itself plus the Engravings inside the Blade
Rubber Strap:
The Rubber Strap is at the Noob a little Bit better, but they are both not same as the GEN!
The GEN is more softer, plus the OYSTERFLEX Engrave at the side is more Filegran.
Some TDs offer now some new Rubber Straps extra that have also the metallic Part inside the Rubber same as the GEN.
I can´t say much about it, because i didn´t had it at my Desk. So in my eyes there is no need to worry about the Rubber Strap!
One big Plus have the Rep Strap. The Outside Texture doesn´t Scratch so easy as the GEN Strap.
If you wear the GEN Strap for a while it looks like a Piece of Crap.
This is no Joke! The Texture of the GEN Strap is so soft that you can scratch them with your Finger Nails.
So i would say that´s it with the Yachtmaster RoseGold
Conclusion:
