You couldn't be more wrong - just look at the 2 watches on the TD sites as well as posted QC's - the video's in particular show they are not the same.

Oh okay I thought this was a first time a QC like this showed up.

Checked JTime and indeed it is so.

Perhaps something changed with the bracelet supplier and future QC's of 126610 look also like this :(

Hmm.. conspiracy theory: maybe the old bracelets ran out, now they are using the same as bracelet VSF.

Just received mine! Triggered my carpal tunnel issues peeling off all the tiny protective stickers lol

Will try to do some more macro shots later for everyone’s viewing pleasure. I’d say overall it’s a fantastic rep!

This is a sensible assumption. I don’t believe the ARF bracelet claim any more than the 904l claim with those punks. Furthermore, while ARF bracelets were light years ahead of Noob in 2018, these days they are nothing special.

Looks great! Are you seeing the white top of the crystal gasket through the crystal's edge as some have mentioned when viewing the QC photos?

Thanks! Here’s a quick comparison shot with my VSF 126610ln - exact same placement and centering under a macro lens. there is indeed a sort of milky ring around the crystal edge whereas on the VSF it’s less noticeable. I imagine if this bothers folks it could probably be resolved by swapping the crystal gasket for a translucent one?

I see what you mean. I'm not sure if it would bother me or not. It's noticeable when magnified 10x on a computer screen, but in the flesh it might not be so bad. Could be the polished beveled edge on the CF crystal.

I have a gen 126610 crystal I'm debating whether to remove the cyclops to convert it to a 124060 crystal. I'm not sure if it'll leave a ghost AR where the cyclops was.

.
How to make a gen crystal for a 124060 project in 6 easy steps.

1.) Get a gen 126610 crystal.
2.) Drink a shot of your favorite liquor (per KJ's suggestion).
3.) Pray to the watch gods that this stupid risk will work.
4.) Light your propane torch.
5.) Heat crystal and remove cyclops and clean off remaining UV glue with acetone.
6.) Drink another shot to celebrate not ruining anything.

Haha that’s amazing. You’ll also have full AR coating on the underside with that crystal!

Some observations over the last couple days below. To be clear, none of these bother me, but wanted to share in case any of this is important to some folks:
  • The lume is perfect colour most of the time. Today while out in the sun, close to around golden hour, I noticed a really interesting shift, where the pearl kind of glows a bit cyan, and the indices look a bit lavender/violet. There’s a clear difference between them, but I wasn’t able to capture it using my phone camera or replicate it under artificial lighting at home. being a lume nut, I found it very curious pigment behaviour and will try to capture it if I notice it again
  • Anecdotally, timekeeping seems great. Don’t have a timegrapher so I can’t measure unfortunately
  • It wears wonderfully on the wrist. The clasp seems to hug the bracelet more than my VSF 126610, and this lends a more curved feel when on wrist. The bracelet overall is great and the clasp is much better IMO than the VSF. Whenever the TDs are willing to let me source parts, I’ll get a replacement CF 12x bracelet to swap onto my VSF
  • The SEL at 11 is flush with the lug while the rest have a tiny height difference. Again, not an issue for me but may be important to others
  • The rotor surprisingly is a tad noticeable, compared to other Clean subs I’ve got. On my 114x and 116x CFs, the rotor was never noticeable. Might be the difference of the VR3230, but haven’t opened it up to take a look yet. A service or just a drop of lube would probably resolve it. To be clear though, it’s only noticeable when flicking the wrist, not in regular movements
  • Bezel action is light and smooth. A hair of backplay, and could likely benefit from a slightly stronger spring upgrade. The click itself is nice. I have a slight preference for bezels that don’t turn when brushing up against my jeans or some other light contact. Caveat: I’ve never touched a gen, so I have no comparison apart from VSF and 11x CF models. I dunno how easily a gen turns. My gen omegas don’t turn easily from accidentally rubbing so that’s my only comparison
  • Alignment of the rehaut is just a micrometer off. This is only noticeable at high magnification macro photos, on the wrist you’ll never notice it. The engraving looks good and refined to me. I’d be tempted to try another one to see if I can relieve my OCD about having the rehaut crown perfectly centered (admittedly I did this with 114x), and to see as others receive theirs whether it gets better as they produce more.
Overall I’m really happy with this one - I’ll likely be daily wearing it for quite awhile!

Some macro photos for y’all to enjoy as promised - note I had to long exposure shots as I didn’t have good lighting, so the seconds hand is always has motion blur from the time lapse:
