Lots of people buy a blue dial, which is very close to gen. And imo not worth replacing with gen. Does anyone have pictures, or write something about black and white dial compared to gen?

Nikz told me that gen gasket doesnt fit on cf datejust, neither vsf gasket… sorry if i missed something but does it exist any other gasket to fit to clean datejust to remove milky ring? Thanks in advance

This is incorrect. Gen and VSF gasket fits with no issues - I have done it many times.

Also, it’s not the gasket that is giving it the “milky” look - it’s the xtal.

In my case, Gen gasket couldn’t secure the bezel, it was loose enough to be easily removed by hand

Crystal is milky on the edges then? You sure about that?
im thinking about milky ring where the gasket fits, not the whole crystal

By comparing the CF and VSF, I am convinced that the milky effects was caused by glass edge shape.

CF on left, VSF on right
VSF gasket is very slightly clear then CF one.
It’s difficult to recognize by pic.
Actually CF gasket color isn’t bad.

VSF has more wider chamfer and maybe this makes nicer edge effect.

Regardless of the color of the gasket, VSF glass always reflect index and keep transparency as gen.
On the other hands CF kept same appearance when replace the Gasket to VSF.

for me i would keep my new clean crystal over vsf i also have

vsf have just little more AR but everything else cf is better(this new upgraded CF)
cyclops shape, glue around is like gen, no distortion like vsf have on angles
