Getting diamonds on a watch?

Dude, 100% go with what makes you happy. You cannot go and get a watch that you think is the most expensive, 3/4's of the public wont have a clue what it is anyway. Everyone is different, some people only wear reps of the gens they could afford or there lifestyle says they can afford....this is a huuuuuge other subject too.
Look around, browse the M2M, look at the trusted dealer sites, even go into a jewller and see the gens, i find that pictures do not do watches justice and you need to go and see them in person, then make wait till the one comes along and pull the trigger.

I 100% want to go for the Rose gold Rep The Royal Oak Rose gold Audemar.

so look at it in this way....how much is it? I don't know because i have never looked. But if it was say £300-£500 I would argue that I may not be to disheartened if in a year I needed to replace it if it was something I really wanted. Granted you don't want to do that for the rest of your life but once you pull the trigger it won't be long till you have more watches to rotate it with.

I am not fond about diamond APs, but this combination seems to work perfectly. Lovely gen.

Go with a diamond watch on a leather or vintage type strap. The rep gold looks more real on a strap and looks a bit classier than a full pave bracelet, etc.

Check out rolex ref. 116758 and change the strap to a suede vintage blue strap to match the blue sapphires.

I think diamond bezel is more "acceptable" than an iced out watch. But all in all, it is just my opinion and it is your watch. Just do whatever you like man.
