Having held the two, side-by-side, at eye level, for more time than I probably should have, I'm unable to see a difference in thickness between the two. Thickness is a non-issue imo when choosing between the two.

some measured 9.3mm and some 9.2mm and then there where some calipers that showed 9.0mm... so better don't quote me on that but that was the last consensus that there is a difference of 0.2-0.3 measured while the PF was stated as 9.0mm.

its gone crazy since the 5711 was introduced for 15.000€ retail
