Strap for my PAMs

It looks great on the stock black strap...
But I swapped straps with the PAM 961 and now think that looks better on the Black Strap..

The green on the 979 for me doesn't work...


So do I get another black rubber for the 979 or try a different colour? I have a Gen white rubber that I could try on that, but that will spend most of the time on the 985

I'm mulling this little conundrum over too. I think the cause of the problem is that the green rep 961 strap is crap in terms of colour. I think I might keep the black strap on the 979 because it looks awesome and explore further options with the 961. My 961 is currently on a camo Horus strap which to be honest, just doesn't work that well. It's my first Horus strap and they're awesome though! Very comfy (I got it second hand at a sensible price) so I might explore either a Gen 961 green strap or a Horus (or similar) strap in the correct green colour.

Had another play, stuck the green strap on the Mike Horn 985, what do you know it works! Also for some reason the White now appears to be working much better on the 979 and with the plan to keep the 961 on the Black rubber, strap conundrum over... for now!

I hope you mean the 984 because the 985 looks terrible on a green strap.

The 985 looks amazing on the gen blue though. Imo.

That’s a good combo.. I stupidly threw that strap away when I got the watch.. then had the same strap, different colour on the 985 and loved it..

Oooh!!!! I forgot about that strap, thanks for the reminder!!! I dug it out of my strap box and tried it on my greeny and on there it will stay for a while.

Panerai boutique here in my local mall has the 979 on a white, and a grey rubber strap. Both look absolutely amazing! The grey is an obvious choice, but I would never peg the white yet it looks really cool.
