Seems like the future is bright for us who like this brand. I have just seen this being released. It is the 1st time I see a rep of Arnold & son. I know there are many models which could be "easilly" replicated and which would find their position on the market if done correctly.

There is a RG case version as well..

Yes i just realized that the rep is of a Crescent while the gen is a full moon....amazed how they didn't get that right.

Yes, it appears to be completely different. Too bad..maybe sometimes in the future we'll see some better reps.

Being a fantasy or not (did not see any gen pics of the other half moon face) it is still a lovely watch. For the price of 269$ it could be a good buy.

You bet -- I wonder if the gen has that same dual-sided wheel? And if so, what's on the other side ??

Have a look at the video. It shows the full moonphase layer of the dial. Looks like the rep factory did their "interpretation" how should it look like if they were the original designers of the watch.

I did not ask around TDs but this one is not advertised anywhere.
It seems to be available through one reasonnably known seller over DHG. I was wondering if I should buy it for the 16th anniversary, it sells for around 300$ and people have recently posted pictures of it on the seller comment section.

Hi, saw your post just now, i'd be weary about doing that...
I also saw that one and even texted the seller. I gotta say they are pretending to be PureTime but are definitely not, the guy i texted feels like he doesn't even understand english at all so don't expect any form of QC from them. Also the other thing i noticed from the pics he sent me is aside from the messed up faded color plating on the case (which doesn't bother me that much) theres a gross brand mis-spelling on the moonphase that i didn't notice at first.

Also if you look at the other review pics you will see its not just a one off mistake, all of them are the same...
I just really wish a serious TD from here would take up this project with a factory or something since its such a beautiful watch but all i've seen so far is that it's not a popular brand so nobody will touch it.....which is a bit ridiculous to me since some TD's have some really obscure brands that have some ridiculous looking watches on their lists, but hey tastes can't be judged.

I can confirm they are surfing on the Puretime name but are not officialy related to the TD. There is also a Pure_time one!
Thanks for the information, I did not put too much effort into inspecting the product. That's really a stupid mistake... Reminds me of the Patek Pnillipe on another watch.
