Just popped on biao, they finally released a v4 in the right size, 42mm (v3 was the wrong 46mm)

Looks absolutely superb especially the forged carbon case - wow.

They re-engineered the skeleton framework to include the hollow space between the front and back layers. Absolutely fantastic.

From the moment I saw it (same in Biao6688), I have been looking for it with my private TD and RWI TD’s, but still nothing, I can’t found it for sale, only v3… ????????

I hope they have repaired most of the faults that v3 had…

Wanted to share some initial thoughts, specs, and vids on the

Excalibur Rddbex0393 FC BBR Skeleton Dial Black Rubber Strap A2136 Tourbillon V4 blah blah blah.

First impressions on this one go straight to build quality and holy $h*t it's the best finished rep I've seen yet. As someone who's very detail oriented, I obsess over minor imperfections in my reps and attempt to correct as many of them as possible. Even under macro this thing looks pretty damn amazing and who doesn't like watching a flying tourbillion do it's thing?

On my 6.75 in wrist it's wearable, but definitely a large watch. Luckily, the case is also both thin and light, making the large diameter wear more easily. The rubber strap feels of decent quality and the clasp is nicely finished in what appears to be ceramic. While obviously this watch isn't 1:1 with the $120,000 gen, I would say it's a pretty insane value at $800.

Of note, the measurements supplied are INCORRECT. The correct measurements are

43.7 case size, 11.9 width, and 50.5 lug to lug.

I believe so. It was offered in either a white or black strap. I ordered specifically because they'd finally shaved it down to 42mm (1:1). I even confirmed with my dealer the case size prior to ordering. All that said, it's a great watch and hasn't left my wrist since it arrived.

I'm going to guess none of these would fit the new BBR v4 as the Model Number RDDBEX0577 appears to be a fantasy. If they had measurements, I might consider rolling the dice. Any thoughts?

BBR being shut for good, those will become very rare and all 42mm Excalibur tourbillons are going to become collectors, because their are absolutely superb and well made

Hey all,

Hoping someone who knows their way around tourbillions and skeletonized movements in general can enlighten me. Wore my BBR RD CF Tourbillion for the second time outside the house today and noticed this hole. I went back and checked my QC and old photos and it's not visible anywhere. Has the movement been damaged, is this just a production flaw I didn't notice, or does this hole serve a function? I'm concerned there's a piece of this cover bouncing around somewhere in there that's going to damage the movement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gotcha, thanks! I must've looked through dozens of TD sample pics and 30+ pages of the tourbillion club posts without seeing this little hole.

Hello. Im new here, but I did my research before even signing up, so I hope I wont ask dumb questions
I was looking some time for a skeleton to buy, but every one was missing something. Then a saw this one, it immediately fell into my eye. I love how transparent the whole watch is compared to other "cheaper" skeletons + it has tourbillon as well!
I was researchig on JB vs BBR, found out BBR is better, than i was looking on v1 vs v3 in steel/gold with leather strap but it was still missing something, because i want to something sporty....And finally i found this post by mr onepickeldginger - one in carbon with rubber strap, red hands and i fell in love with it.
But there is a problem, somebody mentioned that BBR was raided, and in "factory status post" here on forum their status is unknown.

TDs have them on websites, for example:

but it looks like they are v2 or v3. And i would love to have v4 (with hollow spaces between first and second layer) - why to have v2-3 if you can(t) get v4. First of all its much closer to gen, but thats not most important to me, i like it more, because it looks more sporty and delicate at the same time with hollow spaces than with full bridges(or how to call it).

I even try to find some unbranded ones on Aliexpress, but didnt manage to:

So no success.

So my question is. Is there any chance that some TDs might have one of these BBR V4 in carbon with white rubber strap hidden somewhere and they might forgot about them and they can show up anytime on TDs websites, you know what i mean . Or should i wait because BBR might resume their production, or there is no chance V4 is going to be produce again and should i get one i posted above(one from intime is V2, second idk, because on trustytime is not full description).
