Very exciting news indeed. This would be perfect size for my wrist. GMT on a diver is nonsense IMHO, but still a great looking watch.

GMT on a diver is about the same nonsense as going diving with a $8000 watch instead of a diving computer, so perfectly fine IMO. The most important thing though is that they finally made the 43,5mm sweet spot size.

It is from ts watch station a non TD here, would never order from them but they get a lot of new releases quickly. No pictures of the actual watch as yet, thickness or release date.

I've been waiting for this rep since before I even knew reps existed.

I've been so close to just buying the gen on jomashop so many times now - the thing putting me off is the thickness at 17.25 so I hope the rep has gen dimensions, that way I can see how it wears before committing to the real thing. Mind you, if it's that good maybe I won't need to get the gen and can save my money for a speedy instead! ????

Bezel thou - why why why unidirectional?! Go to all that effort on the movement and leave a unidirectional bezel on a gmt!

I'm willing to bet they miss the "GOOD PLANET FOUNDATION" on the caseback of the blue/orange version.

I don't understand the thickness. The 8605 is the same movement as the Aqua Terra GMT.

The 8605 clone has been solid for my AT GMT. Worn it daily for a month now and its +/- 30 secs a day. Seems to go back and forth so I only adjusted it once by one minute a few days after getting it and haven't bothered since.
