Gen New AP x Marvel release

Followed today’s livestream from AP and wanted to share the new release, first thought? Yikes really not my cup of tea looks like a mix of jacob &co. design finishing and Romain jerome use of superheroes, only thought on this is that it could get a rep considering it’s a tourby time only watch(to my knowledge i might be wrong) the most difficult part is defenetly the finishing but I’ve seen reps such as the Excalibur knights of the round table that has a pretty nice finish to be a rep(I like it at least), so guys what do you think about this model. And also the limited edition 1 of 1 that sold for 5.2m(the most expensive AP ever sold) , so many AP that could have reach for they’re history this price tag and to see this one going for this price tag kind of feels weird, luckily everything is going to charity and love that AP did this(also contributing as a company for 850 grand)
Would love to hear your thoughts.

Probably one of the most aesthetically ugly watch I have seen. I am sure the movement, finish and craftsmanship will be top notch (after all it’s an AP) but not the looks is repulsive

AP doing their best to lose any remaining credibility they have. The entire ROO collection just looks too dated in 2021. The new 15202 is alright but in platinum, it’s not exactly gonna become a world best seller

I think IWC did the best out of W&W.

I like the not so big, big pilot and also the shock absorber novelty.

I’m just shocked at how bad this idea was, nothing says Swiss Luxury like a comic book.

Definitely need to say it twice for emphasis lol.

But yes, I agree with you, this is crass to say the least. I saw the this during the sneak preview but was hoping they would tweak it for the production release (albeit a 1 of 1 limited edition lol)
This is more hype than watch for me. Moving on.
