Finally received mine after 2 months, snapped some quick photos. I've had a JF v9.5 and V10 and right off the bat I def. like this a lot more in terms of overall feel and look. I don't study my watch like some of you guys do so I'll let you guys be the judge. Not to mislead anyone but the one thing I did notice is that the watch feels/wears smaller than the JF models. JFs feels very bulky compared to this, I'm not sure it is that gives off this illusion.

I’m really considering this one and then deciding if I like this more than my vsf Yachtmaster fir my black rubber option

Also got mine, it's still in the rather impressive box ZF send it out with. I haven't paid too much attention to it as it's going straight off to ado to swap in my slow beat Swiss movement, agree it feels like it wears smaller but I'll reserve judgement til an XS strap is on it

Thanks for that. Wonder if JF Bracelet would fit on ZF case? I’m guessing no...:can’t exactly bend stainless into position (unlike rubber). What are your thoughts based on your experience with swapping across rubber straps. Thanks

Gentlemen, if someone can help me with measuring by caliper the length of ZF and JF links of AP 42mm watches? I need the exact dimension. Thanks

Tan_Go i can't help with it but here's what I found after fiddling with the zf diver and an array of straps

Ok JF straps are a pita to mount (as if changing strap on an AP was a breeze anyway) because the hole on the zf plots is a tad higher /closer to the lugs. You need some extra force and I'm not really happy with that..

Gen croc straps and a roo gen rubber i have are perfectly fine no problem with it

Then as per mech500 request I tried a JF bracelet and it goes in like butter

Perfect fit no problem

So this led me to another test

I mounted jf plots into the zf diver and bingo they go in well and the jf straps can be mounted effortlessly

But in doing so I realized the metal bar which go in the strap holes from zf is a tad thicker than a JF (or maybe a cheap one I had I can't guarantee but all I have are likewise - except the only ZF) so I went back to zf plots and tried a JF strap with another rod and it was slightly easier to mount

​​​​​​​So my findings for those tldr; folks like legend

: - jf strap by right not easy
- gen strap no prob
- jf bracelet no problem
- if you need jf xs best is to mount jf plots

No it’s the light my friend, no difference in tone. Perhaps difference in the “grain” of the steel but hardly noticeable if any

Just ordered the 15703 along with the VSF Yachtmaster. Does anyone know if the ZF is actually available through TDs (in my case puretime)?
