Tompa and flying-tommy in 1996 I bought my first Gen AP Royal Oak Offshore. what I recall is that there were no rubber or leather bracelets. only steel or gold.

Received my first AP yesterday. Love the looks but most of all the on wrist comfort is better than any other watch I own. It feels so light and nice to wear yet it still has great wrist presence. I'm converted!
