Check this caseback! On the left you have a 2-3year old JF rubberclad 57th street. Its 15.1mm (stock) and to the right you have the latest rubberclad V2 with cyklop. Check out the caseback..!!! The watch is 16,1mm.. the caseback is huge!! wtf happend? They made better cases/watches 2-3 years ago? Or this is just an bad batch..? Its so weird..

Decorated movement inside I’m guessing. Absolutely pointless on a closed caseback watch.

Yes that’s also what they’re shipping nowadays for open caseback models, 16.2 for my Batman.

Surprisingly the RGRC was 15.4 with a closed caseback...

The overloaded thickness to accommodate a decorated movement that isn’t fooling anyone is such a waste of effort. Akin to the 18 mm OMF omega PO with a 7750 disguised as a caliber 8900. No problem as long as thickness isn’t considered a dimension...

Tompa, I have no idea what JF are up to, their AP offerings of late are certainly not great. But I believe the RC on the left is a Noob - if you look at where the lug screw holes are drilled these are definately Noob style, much closer to the curved polished edge; JF would normally have their lug holes centred, just as the ones on the model to the right. Plus, Noob (closed) casebacks used to be slightly thinner from what I remember so that explains the difference.

But even if I’m wrong, the factories use subcontractors, so batches will always differ.

Can you put up a pic of the 57 bezel and screws? I agree it looks like a Noob based on caseback bevel angle and side reveal, and the location of the bracelet screws. Bezel screws will tell all.

Yes mate. I only assume its JF because the JF straps fits tight and Good. And the rubber in the bezel is ”real” rubber. And the seller told me its a JF.. but i can be wrong..

I agree with the rest. This is a noob (case and all) but it does not mean that you should immediately go out and sell it. Noob or JF, it’s not gen and Noob does have its advantage like the dw font and dial details.
If thickness is your primary concern bro get a talented modder like spongebob to thin it down for you!

It's definitely a Noob 57th street. Look at the numeral markers. Noob has curved edges whereas JF ones are sharper.

There’s the difference then. Who sold you it as JF OP?

I dont want to be rude and hang someone out. But it was here in the sales forum. If you realy want to know you can search for 57th street and you will find it.. :)

Okey now i know its a noob. Thanks my brothers. But the issue is a fact.. if all new JF caseback looks like that one its not good.. its like dubbel the size of my safari(JF)caseback, its unbeliveble. And i thought they maybe work on a new case with ”slimmer” profile.. :) my new panda will land any day sone so we will se how that caseback looks. Cheers my friends!
