Hello fellow AP enthousiasts,

in the past week i have read through countless threads, viewed atleast 20 vids (some where in Chinese) and i still cannot decide on the watch that i want.

i am currently considering the JF AP 15400 v3 with rhe white dial and the Noob submariner v8 LN.

I highly appreciate your input

I heard the only difference is the steel? Saw that the v8 got updated bezel teeth aswell

that 904 is brighter and gives you gen feeling

Never understood the Rolex rep thing. If there is ONE watch somebody is going to ask you “is that a fake?” It’s Rolex, like I would think every day.

I love wearing reps of watches that people don’t know if it’s a $50 watch or a $20k watch, other than that it looks good or they are watch fans.

Maybe you should consider a AP ROO instead of the normal RO. It's massive in every way.

The size of the 15400 is relatively huge, so it looks better on a 7inch size wrist, otherwise it will look too big for you. If you like the design of the Royal Oak model, you may buy the 15450, which is the same as 15400 but in 37mm(a smaller size), that’d suit your wrist perfectly!

Just get the AP 15450 with blue dial. It looks stunning and it will fit your 6" wrist perfectly.

Respect. I find it more and more difficult to decide on 15400 dial colors for other people.

I have a 7.3 inch flat wrist, and I think the 15400 is too big. True, the 15400 wears better when the case is thinned. But I prefer the 15300/15202 overall. That is what Genta designed, and what Genta wanted. The Offshore and the 15400 are very questionable expansion moves from AP, like many of their moves recently, actually.

Guys across watch forums have romanticised the whole genta story for years. People end up paying more for beat up watches because they are buying a story. I’d rather read it on the internet for free.
