Hey guys,

I see almost everyday people asking which size they should take regarding the AP Royal Oak
and it was an issue for me as well!
I found a nice wristshot were you have both and I think that makes deciding very easy.

on that note, does anyone have a chart that lists the different dial diameters for the various case sizes? dial diameter for the 41mm, 39mm, 37mm, etc.

trying to source some franken parts and I want to be sure everything corresponds with each other. I just cant seem to find the right documentation.

I'd like to see them with them swapped,to see both directly behind the wrist. The 15450 looks better in this but I love the way my 15400 fits

I have a really small wrist, tried both on at an AD and I must say the 15450 is not a large watch and would be a really nice watch for anybody with a small wrist. It's a nice look if you prefer let's say a Datejust 36mm to Datejust 41mm (which I do not). The 15400 wears bigger, but even on my small wrist the lugs did not hang over so that's a good thing. I usually hate large watches, but I think the 15400 looks/wears a bit better on my wrist.

@Br9iN thanks for the pic. To put it in prospective what is the wrist size in the pic.
don`t have exact wrist size cause as I said I found the pic on the internet.
But when I put my wrist against it I would definetly say 17 cm - 18 cm :)

15450 is just a tad too small for me, but I can understand its attraction as a dress alternative. In any case, I find all Royal Oaks too heavy, and they slip too easily on my wrist, with crown guards digging into my hand rather painfully sometimes. I hardly wear them.
Dial sizes: 14790 25.5/26.5mm Diameter, 15300 28.5mm Diameter, 15400 30.70mm

Sorry, but what is rnrprof Glass?

It's a double coating anti reflection Crystal glass, it's looks like that you don't have a glass installed ;)
The Glasses are from rnrprof.

15202 is thinner and flatter and sits better on the wrist; 15450 is thicker, rehaut looks 3 feet deep (maybe prof xtal on mine exaggerate it) but has a better quality in the bracelet and overall construction.

Visually difference is minimal, I'd say negligible. 15400 looks way bigger on my wrist but I suspect it might also be the thickness playing a part. Wouldn't mind reviewing my considerations after trying one of the thin 15400 @locolouie offers

Thanks for the post, OP. I myself have been waiting for @locolouie to come up with a 15450 as my wrist is about 7 inches. I am waiting for my 15400 from Warchive to arrive, as Louie said he shipped it last Oct 20, 2017. @SuperLory, kindly post yours when it arrives. We all know that AP's wear larger than the usual 40mm's/37mm's due to its case design. Maybe the 15450 is really it for me.

I wish a factory make a good 15300.. really like the dial setting of it. I might go for 15450 now for a quick fix of RO.
