MODS move this if I screwed up where I posted it
Sunday night I got the word from Stan at WBK he found a Quartz Daytona. I asked for this because I wanted a Daytona without the worries regarding the 11 or so extra gears put in the 7750 to make seconds at 6. This watch was worth every bit of $148 I received both watches today (an Omega Auto SeaMaster) Some of thes pic s still have the plastic on the band. (Didn't realize until later oops but it still looks great. One think I noticed in the QC pic were th hands. They are more "pointy" than the gen...Not worth another $250 and 7750 juryrig
YEah the seconds do tic at 6pm but you have to have the watch up close to see that. The Chrono second hand sweeps like it should and all the chrono parts work well. The bracelet is ok of course not as good as a better rep perhaps but again if one does not give this watch to a WIS they would never know it's a rep' and a quartz at that. I first became enamoured with quartz when I found a Breitling Chronomat 44 with a Seiko VK movement. It is the ost complimented watch I own.
Here are some pics and a short video of the 6 PM seconds running
