Guys,

I've had my dear diver for about 18 months, it has worked like a charm, I have never serviced it or did anything to it, and today, it is stopped working, I wind it and nothing... Seconds are dead at 12.

Who can service it?, or is it cheaper to just buy a new one?, becuase I know service can get very expensive.

100 bucks is expensive for a service for a 400 USD watch. How much do chronos cost to service? Also 1.5 years seems awfully a short life. Do most reps break so early?

As for the OP, if you are based in Europe you should probably send to Domi.

Just remember the rep has just as many parts internally as the gen, and the gen would cost $1000+ to service.
The initial price of a rep has very little bearing on movement service costs.
A gen can break soon after you get it.(check the griping in gen forums)
I have had over 20 reps in 4 years and the only one that"broke" so far, is a moonie st19 with a broken click spring.(off for repair)
Chronos are expensive to repair/replace.(which is why I only own 1 rep chrono)

Send it to either Katt or Vac. Both US based. Katt is in MN and Vac is in FL.

Are you serious? Have you ever own a mechanical watch?

Same thing here.. Took my 1,5 year old V3 out of the box yesterday and it was dead..

Here I got some iphone pics of the movement. Can anybody see what's wrong with it? Or do you really need to take it apart to see whats wrong?

Thanks!

Sorry to say, but a watchmaker cannot asses what is wrong with your movement from internet photos.
