Ok, my Rollie stopped working today at 12:31pm precisely (I noticed it about an hour later) i knew something was wrong as i only put it on this morning and i always manually wind every watch about 30 turns.

I was at work and wanting to open the caseback i dug deep into my drawer and found some sellotape.
Rolled it up and opened the back up.

This is a 21j low beat movement and no matter what i did, that bugger just wouldn't start...

I couldn't see anything wrong with the movement and couldn't work out why it just stopped working...I also didn't have any tools on me...but what i did have was my trusty Swiss Army knife (this one i keep on my keyring with my car keys) and i have to say it is the most useful tool that i have.
(Bought mine from Amazon a few years ago)
There are very handy micro tweezers and a small plastic toothpick type thing.
That's a 5p piece there for those Brits that are reading (about the size of a dime i reckon) this knife is small but irreplaceable.

That's what i used to remove the crown, movement and had a look around the balance spring and...damn me there was a tiny bit of swarf in there, not actually in the balance spring but near it stopping the wheel from moving....that's what was stopping it. I picked it out and boom..,that puppy started ticking straight away...relief right there.
So, there you go...my trusty little knife saves the day again.
P.S. i also noticed how bloody dirty that movement is....and this thing is only a few months old.

For those that may be interested this is the size one that i have

Now that's a cool story, shows you that a bit of ingenuity and self-confidence can go far.

I have a knife just like that in my desk drawer at work. Might dismantle my watch next time I have a slow day on the office... Good job!

Well done, I had a similar Swiss mini tool kit, it came in a credit card shape, and size, and had the same plastic toothpick yours has, plus tweezers, and foldable scissors too.
