I'm so impressed with the new SIHH's especially the Safari....but I now have two light dialed AP's ......Safari SIHH and Panda on SS..

The Panda on SS is ... well.. classic AP.. but selling it for a darker faced new SIHH Navy seems sensible and more balanced...

but having real trouble coming to terms with actually letting go of Panda...

So what would you do..

High end problems I know... but really appreciate your views .. Thx

Navy SIHH 2104

Safari SIHH 2014

Of course it comes down to personal preference. Also may depend on what else you have in your collection and what else is "missing". I find the Panda more versatile. Where as the safari can be more attire specific. The Navy has a similar color dynamic to the Panda. So for me, I wouldn't let go of the Safari for a Navy but exchanging Panda for a attire specific Navy probably also wouldn't work for me.

Good problem to have. ;)

well..honestly i would go for the navy along with the panda. to me the safari is a nice watch but to me the navy is better, and i believe that the panda has the ability to match with a number of outfits. good luck with your "problem". let us know what happens in the end

Yes I missed that part! I'd still stay with the Panda, perhaps a new strap to change it up? New Nazy still too attire specific for me.

with every opinion I change my mind.... keep em coming....

masnannan ....Always loved the old Navy...but won't have two of the older style 42's

Bhuddist....tempting... very tempting... but not gonna happen... famous last words..

Pam am... new Safari is the absolute keeper for me... it is just the bomb !!

icravetoobs... you're right SIHH navy is attire specific... but with safari as well unless i'm wearing purple I guess one of them will look ok

Fire007... I am thinking your way too... SIHH's are the way forward...

Lambor... very true...i've only tried Navy SIHH on in LED lighting conditions.. but think it may be a bit duller in daylight... the pics do make a huge difference

Tintonsi.... then I read what you said and i'm back at square one...

Thanks all

I would keep the Panda and get the Navy. Then you have both version of ROO.

Panda is practical with all environment and be able to match with many straps and bracelet.

Safari is pretty of her own but more bound to a specific tone and less versatile then Panda in my .20.

oh well...good luck on this great happy problem!

...Famous last words... lol.

The SIHH Navy is nice... but I also think it's a novelty watch. Basically something that you'll grow tired off, especially if you keep the Panda. I hate to say it, but are you fixated on going with another AP ROO?

I'm heading towards ... getting the Navy.....

Putting all three of them in a line up....Then deciding..

One of them will stand proud a little and bite the bullet ...

The Safari won't be going anywhere though... only had it 10 days and i love the new design....

Need to see navy in person. Looks great in AP pics but not do good in the real world shots I've seen.

Can't stand the panda because of the pushers. Was speaking with some friends involved in the industry and the consensus is that rubber has no place on any top-tier watch, with obvious exception of stuff like the strap. It's a bad material, and it breaks, and there's no sense in sending the watch to service every several years because the rubber has worn away.

The Navy is simply a better watch.

User... I think you're right... the photos look better than the reality.. it just isn't as vibrant in real life..

Carlos....I love the rubber on some of the the ROO's ... It's what gives the riubberclads their sporting style....

The rubber bezels though are notoriously fragile and easy to damage and Gen replacements , hugely expensive....

I agree on the all steel 42 ROO's ... rubber pushers are a poor choice and not necessary and the new ceramic ones are significantly better and more suited....
