crown hard to close

after winding my watch , I find it very hard to close the crown right from the moment it catches the thread . it also wont close fully
unwinding it is fairly easy .

anything I can do to make it easier ?

Was it tough to unscrew? If not you may have gotten a lemon that tends to go in crooked often.

On some watches with poor threads you might find it better to try moving the crown backwards a little til you get the threads lined up. Trying to force it on will ruin the threads even faster.

Is it a BP maker by perchance? I have experienced an influx of issues related to BP maker Subs etc, all with crown and tube woes.
