The ETA hands on E bay will fit. And also TC hands will fit.
The last BP SD i owed had the high beat movement in it. But the A2836 or ETA 2836-2 is better and more solid movement.

no, they are not super lumed but if you are not sure it will fit, good to try. Besides, I personally don't like to spend $50 on a $150 watch for something that trivial. If the lume is too dark, buy some lume and try to relume it.

So it sounds like the high beat 21j is really a cheaper 25j clone.....out of curiousity where are the dial feet ?

UPDATE
The 21j high beat movement is basically a crude 2836 clone, hands and dial feet are in same ETA position, so TC hands will fit, etc.

The low beat 21j is different, same old dg2813 we know

Not to hijack your thread but can someone tell me why the 2836 is the movement of choice and not a 2824, isn't the 2836 more complicated day /date movement and the 2824 just the date?

I think the 2836 is preferred because it does have the option to have both day and date, so the manufactures like it because that movement can be used in more watches, both date only, and day date, so it can reduce inventory. Because of this more cases and movement rings are cut to use it. Also because it has both day and date, the date wheel is different, it is stepped(the 2836) the date wheel on the 2824 is flat. Date wheel overlays tend to have problems on 2824s because of them being flat.
Also the 2824s have really short pinions and when you use a 2824 with an overlay i think it raises the dial up so high, the hands tend to rub the dial so the pinions and wheels have to be replaced with taller units to correct this.
